Before joining Stahancyk, Kent & Hook, Laura worked in a variety of legal areas. She spent several months clerking for a small firm in Portland, assisting clients with employment and personal injury claims. She then clerked for a sole practitioner in Salem who focuse on criminal defense, domestic relations, and personal injury. Her clerk position transitioned into an associate position after law school, through which she learned the importance of focusing on clients' needs.
