Ms. Matsie has broad family law experience assisting clients with dissolution of marriage, legal separation, child custody and visitation, spousal and child support, domestic violence, and post judgment modifications.As a certified mediator, Ms. Matsie understands that active listening and understanding are quintessential to meeting client needs and goals. These skills are necessary to implement tailored solutions to intricate family law issues.Ms. Matsie endeavors to combine her expertise with care and empathy when handling difficult family law matters. As a family law attorney, Ms. Matsie seeks to assist the client in achieving the best possible result through clear communication, sound guidance, consistent focus, and thorough preparation.Ms. Matsie received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Illinois. She earned her Juris Doctor from Chicago Kent College of Law. In law school, among other things, Ms. Matsie clerked on the Cook County Circuit Court Domestic Relations Trial Division. Ms. Matsie was admitted to the Illinois bar in 2016, and the California bar in 2017. In 2016, Ms. Matsie completed a 40-hour mediation training certification.Ms. Matsie was recognized as a Northern California Rising Star in the family law practice area by Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters rating service of outstanding attorneys.
