He couldn't tell a judge or me that child support in MD for self-employed counts your income after reasonable expenses(something that took me about 10 minutes to look up after the fact) When my ex's attorney blocked my attempts to adjust child support in May of 2020 I sent Eric my tax returns and didn't hear back from him until October. His approach to negotiating was to give my ex everything she wanted and hope she goes away. I ended up getting stuck in a situation where I was being required to pay more in child support than I could possibly afford. Even though I came to a settlement with my ex to avoid contempt(Eric basically asked me how much money I could throw at her when it came down to it) my bank accounts still got locked. So I gave all my savings to my ex, got locked out of my bank accounts, then Eric hits me up to pay his bill and quits two weeks before our trial when I can't pay it.
