In 1971, Mr. Israel founded Visualtek (later dba "VTEK"), a leading company manufacturing electronic assistive devices for blind and visually impaired people. The company was acquired in 1998 by Telesensory Corporation. Mr. Israel was Telesensory's CEO from 1994 until his retirement in 1999.
