About
Kyle is a lifelong Alabamian who grew up in Attalla, graduated from The University of Alabama, then attended Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law. His law practice is built around solving issues for the people and businesses of Etowah County so they can do more.Kyle is deeply rooted in the Etowah County Community. While in high school at Etowah, his first job was wearing a zebra suit at community events as the mascot for Z93, “Zooby-Do.” Believe it or not, that’s relevant to Kyle’s path to the legal profession. That job quickly turned into another when Kyle became Digital Content Director for Z93 and WAAX where he was responsible for the content and design of all digital properties associated with the radio stations. From there, Kyle moved to Tuscaloosa while he attended The University of Alabama and continued to work in radio. During Kyle’s time in Tuscaloosa, he was fortunate to have been a member of a small award-winning team at 98 TXT, which covered the April 27, 2011 tornado outbreak and provided around-the-clock live coverage until electricity was restored to every Tuscaloosa County resident. This was not the beginning of Kyle’s passion for serving others, which had begun years earlier while in high school when Kyle was elected Key Club District Governor, but it was the lightbulb moment where he realized that he could bring his passion for serving others into his career.Since then, Kyle participated in research while at Alabama that provided small communities with the tools to create news outlets, developed methods for better calculating return on investment (ROI) on advertising spending, and analyzed the impact of harmful statutes on disenfranchised communities. That didn’t keep Kyle from continuing his passion for service. While in Tuscaloosa, Kyle was lucky enough to again serve as a state leader of a Kiwanis family club when he was elected as Alabama District Circle K Governor.Following his graduation from the University of Alabama, Kyle moved to Birmingham to attend Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law. Kyle continued his service to Alabamians as the Charter President of the Kiwanis Club of Magic City Young Professionals. That did not prevent Kyle from taking a rigorous course load that; in addition to the required courses in Estate Planning, Legal Procedure, and Contracts; included Advanced Trial Advocacy training for both Criminal and Civil cases; in-depth Real Estate & Business Transactions; and, Voting Rights litigation. Beyond his studies, Kyle has researched and written on developments in Real Estate & Land Laws and the best practices for law firm operation.Kyle’s tireless work ethic meant that his studies and community service were not the only things he was a part of during his time at Cumberland. Kyle first clerked for Hon. Judge David A. Kimberly of Alabama’s Sixteenth Judicial Circuit where he researched pending cases and provided insight into court filings in the Summer of 2014. Following that summer, Kyle worked on large personal injury cases as a Law Clerk for Steve Tipler at Tipler Law Offices where he conducted legal research, wrote motions and briefs for the court, and prepared information during the information finding phase of cases. Those two work experiences while at Cumberland prepared Kyle for the practice of the law. Now, as a lawyer practicing in Gadsden and Etowah County through The Law Offices of Kyle D. Pierce, Kyle works every day to bring his passion for serving others together with his knowledge and experience to solve problems for his clients that allow them to do more and go further in the pursuit of their passions.

I made an appointment with Attorney Kyle Pierce, Gadsden, Al. He was very kind but realist with me & my daughter about the possibility of win or losing our case. I hired him and I think I made a great decision.
Kyle was always very thorough and responsive. He worked hard to help me understand the intricacies of my case so we could make the best decisions. I'd highly recommend him to anyone who needs legal help!
I have selected Mr. Pierce to help me determine whether or not I have custody of my child, and what steps I will need to take to bring him home. He is very knowledgeable, and I trust that he will be able to get the answers I need. For any issues I have in the future that may require legal representation I fullly intend to use Mr. Pierce. I highly recommend him to those in need of counsel.
Kyle is a fantastic and well educated attorney that was very frank with me about my case. I would recommend him to anyone that asked.
Kyle worked with us from day one to help write our business plan, draft our incorporation documents and operating agreement, then later identify business efficiency issues and facilitate real estate transactions. In all that, Kyle's work has been quick, thorough, and diligent.
Mr. K. Pierce came to my home because of my disability and wavied any cost unless a recovery is made.
I hired Kyle in Nov 2019 to help update child support for my child of the major (20yrs of age at the time), to remove my name from the home that I gave my ex-wife via quick claim deed (6yrs after the divorce and she had been remarried for 3 hrs at the time) and to address a custody agreement that was being ignored. All of my complaints were of the highest concern for myself and family. Kyle talked a big game and made big promises in our first of only 2 face to face meetings over a 2yr timeframe. Of course he required an upfront in full retainer fee without a written timeline agreement. !!!! !!(Mistake on my part)!! As the months roll by and the numerous emails/calls etc go by I seriously questioned my decision to hire him for such an important matter. Based on Kyle’s promises my case should have been a priority and pretty straight forward. It was far from it… The case was drug out 5 times over a year and with little to zero momentum on Kyle’s behalf. Kyle would only answer my emails after several attempts. I would always have to email or call him to see if we were having our hearing as scheduled or if it had been continued. He never took initiative EVER…. Kyle resolved NOTHING over the 2 years that he was hired and turned out to be a huge waste of time, money and emotions… This November of 21 will make 3 yrs with no resolution or hearing. I have now have a new attorney; she scheduled our hearing to happen within month as a priority. Good luck and never settle for less!!! If you care about your case please take my advise as a warning and as a lesson learned….
