I would not recommend Kristy Patton. I have been in a high conflict situation with my ex and Kristy has not been effective representation for my case. I have sent several emails and messages (close to 20) over one particular matter and they are not answered. The communication is close to zero except when she wants money. I have sent emails, left messages etc regarding a courtorder that is not being followed. I am always told by the paralegal “the information is forwarded and Kristy will get back to you”…which never happens. I will then receive an email to put more money on my account without a bill; I ask about a bill and am told she hasn’t time. The entire process is unethical and the inability to communicate with a client and file proper motions for resolution in ongoing. I have gone to the courthouse to obtain paperwork and to verify there is something being done on my case. I have spent thousands of dollars and 4 years trying to resolve a situation without progress. I have lost faith in the legal system and in attorneys. I am completely disappointed and discouraged. Sadly, I would never recommend an attorney who is not an advocate for their client; I do not feel like she has been an advocate and has been subpar in representing my case.
