I took my will and power of attorneys, etc. to this attorney because my friend told me that I needed to update my documents, and I went to an attorney that told me that I needed to update my documents but that attorney's prices were outrageous so I made an appointment with this law firm, Kristina Combs, for a consult. She was very honest, and told me that there was nothing wrong with my documents and that they didn't need updated unless I wanted to change something. She could have just taken my money and updated the documents, but she was honest and informed me that they didn't need an update right now. I will definitely be using her for any legal issues I have in the future.

She is a great lawyer. She got me custody of my son. I had another lawyer working on the case prior to her, but it was taking forever and I could never get a hold of my other lawyer. Kristina wrapped up my case quickly and kept me informed of what was going on with it. She was not difficult to get a hold of like the previous lawyer. Most of the time she returned my call the same day or the very next day.

7-10 day wait to get a phone call or email, maybe, then cancels the phone appointment you waited for, only to do more waiting and hoping as you try again. You have to beg her to pay attention to your case. Months of waiting and hoping she will take the next step or take the time to talk to you - then you get 10 minutes, maybe 15 at best (3 times over more than 7 months), then she has little to say about anything including the process. We went with her because of the claims on her website. Experience shows otherwise.

Very poor communication. You have to send multiple emails and call just to receive a reply. Her answering service will always tell you to wait 7-10 business days, but when you do every single time they will claim to have never received your email. Ms. Comb's would be confused on when she even communicated with me. My divorce took over a year to finalize, I would receive more information from my ex and opposing counsel than Ms. Combs.

Unless you like the pain…not including the divorce itself. You will not be heard or the majority of what you send isn’t in your file. Despondent and terrible bed side manner. It’s as if she’s doing you a favor while having a hand out.
