Heather R. Sweren joined Brodsky, Renehan, Pearlstein, & Bouquet as an Associate in 2006 and was promoted to Partner in 2015. She is licensed to practice law in Maryland. Ms. Sweren received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2001 and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore in 2005. As part of her legal studies, Ms. Sweren interned with the Honorable Gary Everngam in the District Court for Montgomery County, Maryland, and the Honorable John W. Debelius, III, in the Circuit Court of Montgomery County, Maryland. Following graduation, she clerked with the Honorable William J. Rowan, III, in the Circuit Court of Montgomery County, Maryland. Ms. Sweren is a talented family law litigator. She is a Certified Best Interest Attorney for minors as well as co-chair of the Montgomery County Bar Association Family Law Section. In addition to her client duties, Ms. Sweren is also involved in the Family Law Update. The Family Law Update is a program run by Brodsky Renehan, at the request of the Maryland Bar Association, which educates other Maryland attorneys on developements over the previous year in Family Law.
