About
Born in Springfield, my family spent time in Kansas, Colorado, and Southern California before settling in the Portland area while I was in high school. I received my undergraduate degree from Oregon State University (Go Beavs!) and then headed to Spokane, Washington to pursue a law degree at Gonzaga University. While in law school, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy; help organize and volunteer with spring break service trips in the Dominican Republic and New Orleans; and extern for the Hon. Fred Van Sickle at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. Graduation from law school brought me back to Oregon and I eventually settled in the Eugene/Springfield area.My legal experiences have been varied, including: clerking for the Hon. Karsten H. Rasmussen and Hon. Cynthia D. Carlson at Lane County Circuit Court; representing creditors while in private practice; and serving as the probate commissioner at Lane County Circuit Court for more than eight years. As a result of my time as the probate commissioner, I have a breadth of knowledge about probate administration and am able to share that knowledge with my clients as they navigate through administration of an estate. Working at Strohman Ford has allowed me to expand my base of knowledge and experience and to assist clients with estate planning, business transactions, and real estate matters in addition to estate administrations. I relish the opportunity to use my knowledge and experience for the benefit of my clients as they navigate through legal issues.Away from the office, you’re most likely to find me hiking, watching sporting events, crocheting, training for my next half marathon, or spending time with family and friends.

Sarah answered our questions clearly and identified important issues we hadn't considered in setting up a trust and doing other estate planning for us. She has been friendly, competent, and thorough. We highly recommend her.
Needing an attorney for any situation can be stressful. Unfortunately I have been in need several times of late: our wills, power of attorney for health care, estate planning, death of my dear husband, activating trust, probate, establishing new guardianship. Joel Ford expertly handled our estate and trust planning, then sent me to Sarah Fudge for expert advice and establishing a new guardianship. Sarah expertly guided me through the complicated and emotionally taxing process of creating a guardianship. She is an expert in clear communication and easily explained complex issues, terms, legal implications and options in the execution of the guardianship. When called or emailed, Sarah’s responsiveness was surprisingly fast. Thanks to Sarah’s expertise and knowledge of Lane County’s court procedural system and her consistent, timely communications, the entire process from start to finish was much quicker than I anticipated. The costs of services were very reasonable and highly competitive with other law firms. Yet, there is no comparison for the personal, individualized service every person in their office provided us during difficult times in our lives. The professionalism, caring attitude, ability to make complex law understandable, responsiveness and expertise provided by Sarah was priceless.
Sarah was wonderful helping us with a real estate purchase. She was always available and conscientious of our timeline. She took great care of our needs and resolved all our issues. I was extremely impressed with her caring and knowledge. We highly recommend her.
We hired Sarah E. Fudge to complete our estate planning- Including the writing of a revocable trust that includes the options of a Special Needs Trust and Discretionary Trust for our disabled adult member. She also wrote our supplementary documents and guided us through the language on all of the documents when completed. She took the time in our meetings to explain all scenarios for the trusts, what the options are, and answered all of our questions. At the completion of the documents, we received an estate plan binder with additional information, forms, etc. At all times, she was most professional and easy to work with. All documents were ready when promised, and the documents were accurate without corrections being required. The staff at the firm also displayed genuine concern and caring for the clients. We are very fortunate to now have Ms. Fudge as our attorney, and feel a tremendous relief that all our estate documents are now in order and a plan in place. And, that we have a family attorney that we trust and can rely on.
