One needn't consult a thesaurus to determine Kimberly Tucker's proficiency in handling your case: just hire her. After being arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated in Dallas County, I consulted with Kimberly and promptly retained her services. Not only was she intimately familiar with the suburban police department where I was initially detained, she was equally familiar with and wholly sympathetic to my ensuing two-year travail through the (insert your favorite insult) Dallas County Court system. During that time, 2018 - 2021, Kimberly took extraordinarily detailed notes on my initial consultation statements; cross-referenced those statements against the arresting officer's body camera footage - finding a number of discrepancies which would have benefitted me had the case gone to trial**; followed my blood sample "discovery" as it came back negative for over-the-legal-limit and went back to the lab for illicit substance testing; and made bi-weekly inquiries on my case, which seemingly disappeared, reappeared, and then disappeared again. Approaching two-years with still no formal filing of my case by Dallas County, I grew anxious. Kimberly advised me to "do nothing". However, once the two-year statute of limitations passed, we moved to expunge the case promptly - and expunge it we did! ** I would not have hesitated to hire Kimberly to represent me in trial.
When you find yourself in trouble, it can be a stressful situation. I was hit with a PI charge while on probation with a DWI first offense. Let me say that I wish I hired Kimberly for my first case. My first lawyer drained me of money, issued scare tactics to make me pay more money, and just made the situation worse than what it was. I was lucky to be on probation until I messed up again by consuming alcohol. I learned about Kimberly through a probation officer and the hardest thing to do is trust someone with your freedom. Kimberly was honest with me. In one particular conversation, I was in tears when she told me the truth. Alcohol was an issue that was overpowering me. Nobody has ever been that honest with me. We worked together in order to get my warrant withdrawn and my probation reinstated. The odds where against us but Kimberly was determined to see me through this hard time and she did just that. I am now sober, and attending outpatient rehab and it’s made my life so much better. Had I not chosen KGT Law I would’ve broken another law. Her prices are affordable and there are no hidden fees. She’s up front and honest. If your unsure of where to go, choose KGT Law! You won’t be disappointed.
I am a woman who has had a successful career, raised a beautiful family, never been in trouble, but experienced a lot of loss, trauma and subsequent depression later in life. A bad decision I made was to drink as part of my coping mechanism and I was arrested for DWI. Horrified with myself and frantic about the dire situation I found myself in, I started researching the myriad of attorneys who handle this type of legal work. I was impressed with the strength, class, experience and intelligence of Kimberly Griffin Tucker in my research. I met with Kimberly and hired her right away. To say I am grateful is an understatement. Kimberly KNOWS DUI and DWI law. She is thorough and smart, and she thinks through every possible scenario. Kimberly combined the right mixture of knowledge and experience, strength, care, laser focus, and determination. I was an emotional wreck during that time as well, and she somehow knew how to understand but not coddle me. She gave me the blunt talk I needed, and she kept me focused on getting well while she focused on helping me achieve the best possible outcome. And that is exactly what happened. I'm so thankful I found Kimberly Griffin Tucker. If you find yourself needing legal counsel to navigate your case, I highly recommend you contact Kimberly.
I hired Kimberly the day after I had gotten arrested for a DWI. It was my first time to ever be in real trouble, but Kimberly was kind, patient, empathetic, and trustworthy from the very first meeting I had with her. My case had the complication of it becoming an enhanced DWI, but through the amazing work of Kimberly, she was able to get me results that I could have never imagined. It was truly the best of the best case scenarios. She also helped me manage the stress I was under the whole way, answering any and all questions I had. I truly believe that there is no better lawyer out there when it comes to DWI's and am forever grateful to Kimberly for the great work she put in to get the best outcome for my case.
Getting a DWI is a terrible experience, anyone reading this probably already knows that. Rest assured that KGT is going to make this process much less painful. I read her review on this same website and decided to give her a call her and set a meeting. She met with me immediately, inquired about all of the facts surrounding the case, and walked me through what was going to happen in the coming months. During this time, she remained extremely objective, giving me only the facts of what may come, without speculating about the outcome of the case. I did not want to be sold by lawyer that provides false hope of the outcome in order to gain a client. With that being said, I also left her office knowing that she was going to do everything in her power to get me the best possible plea or trial outcome. KGT walked me through each step in the process (obtaining the police report, tapes, interlock installation, mailing paperwork to DPS etc.). Anytime I needed something from her she was always available, typically responding to an email within the hour. KGT sparkling personality made her a great person to work with and has allowed her to foster relationship in the court system that can be invaluable during the process of your case. I decided to take a plea, and I know she helped me get the best possible plea for my case. I can say confidently, I hired the right person for the job, and will be hiring her again to get my DWI sealed after the waiting period. KGT, thank you again for your hard work, you’re a gem and truly helped me through this process.
From the first time I met Kimberly, I was struck by her intelligence, poise, confidence, knowledge, and ability. It's now two years later, and I have found that I was only wrong in underestimating exactly how great she was. This lawyer can certainly move mountains for you and her name alone carries an incredible amount of clout with the DAs office (as it should, since she was both a judge and a district attorney herself). I hired Kimberly when I was arrested for 5 drug possession felonies (two of which were schedule 1 with a 5 year minimum in state prison). She was able to plead me down to 6 months on first time offender probation that will have everything down to the arrest expunged after the completion of the term (and of course I will hire her again for that). Kimberly legitimately saved me when I was at the lowest point of my life and gave me another chance to completely start over by giving me a miracle outcome when I had reason to expect the worst. If there is a way out of your troubles, rest assured that she will find it. Kimberly has a paperweight on her desk that says "A good lawyer knows the law, a great lawyer knows the judge." I found out that she is definitely the latter type; the respect that she commands in the court room and the halls of the courthouse is palpable. Judges, District Attorneys, and fellow defense attorneys all greet Kimberly with a great deal of reverence and clearly respect her as both an adversary and a colleague. If the paperwork I signed with my incredible plea deal wasn't enough to convince me that I had hired the right lawyer, the number of prosecutors that were on very friendly terms with her would have done it for me. Kimberly puts the utmost pride in her work and truly doesn't want you to be the "franchise client" that keeps coming back and paying her. She actually wants you to move on to better things in your life. She can simply get you out of trouble, or she can change your life and get you headed in the right direction. The choice is yours to make. I was so enamored by her ability and professionalism that I decided that I would be going to law school after I graduate to follow in her footsteps. I can say with utmost confidence that if KGT is your lawyer, the outcome you get on your case will be the absolute best scenario that could have happened for you. She will leave no stone unturned and will fight your case until hell freezes over, and then she will fight on the ice.
Hands down the best attorney you can hire. I have used Ms. Tucker more times than I would like to admit over the years and have never been disappointed with her service You will not under any circumstances find a better criminal defense attorney out there
In Oct 2018, I made a terrible mistake and was arrested for a DUI. Not knowing a thing about what I was facing and just thankful no one was hurt from my actions, I started my long journey on finding a lawyer and navigating thru the waters I was very unfamiliar with. Enter KG. After some research, I went with KG and it was the best decision I could make. First and foremost she just eased my anxiety. Told me it was going to be OK. That I would not lose my corporate job; I would not go to jail; that I am not bad person...all the things that I was worried about. She explained all the options, and was with me each and every step of the way; always keeping my sanity and well being in mind first...everything else was second. Fast forward to almost 3yrs later. I completed probation, I have my life back. She not only gave me a good lesson in the law, but also a great lesson in life. If you made a mistake. If you feel your life is over...it's not. Contact KG. She knows how and she will make things better.
I was charged with dwi in Denton county. Mrs. Tucker did a fantastic job from start to finish. I was always informed of what was going to happen at each step. She got my license re-instated from a suspension. She filed all documents and kept me informed in a prompt manner. She is a true professional and knows the law especially in the counties she represents. My sentence and probation were reduced along with the fines through a plea. I am grateful for Mrs. Tucker and would highly recommend her services.
Kimberly is an exceptional attorney. She is straight forward, very dependable and very effective in handling her cases, I highly recommend her!
