About
Kimberly MacEachern is a member in the Employment, Labor, OSHA, and Immigration department. Ms. MacEachern’s practice focuses on a range of business and regulatory issues. For over the past three decades, Ms. MacEachern has acquired legal experience in solo, law firm, public and private practice settings. Clients represented include government agencies, the largest mobile home dealer in the western U.S., an on-line stock trading developer, a health care revenue and recovery entrepreneur, a cotton breeder, land developers, various small businesses and medical doctors. Matters include real estate, contractual, employment issues, litigation and/or arbitration matters and bankruptcy court.Skilled in statutory and regulatory drafting, interpretation and analysis, her work as a lobbyist began with a legislative internship and has continued throughout her career, most recently, representing the collective Arizona prosecution community. She has extensive experience with drafting statutes and rulemaking on behalf of government agencies and the private sector, for such clients as the largest sport shooting club in Arizona and a natural gas storage developer, among others. As a trained mediator, she has served as an alternative dispute resolution judge for the Maricopa County Superior Court and also as a Judge Pro Tempore there and in three valley municipal courts hearing civil traffic, misdemeanor and restraining order cases. She has also served on two jury panels in a civil and criminal case. MacEachern was intern to the Honorable Tom Kleinschmidt, Arizona Court of Appeals.A former regulator, Ms. MacEachern was the Water Division Director of the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ). She is currently a member of the Maricopa County Air Pollution Control Board (past chair) and previously served on a number of water quality organizations. At the Arizona Attorney General’s office, MacEachern represented ADEQ and the Arizona Department of Agriculture. Prior to her legal career she spent a decade at the Arizona Department of Revenue.
