About
KIMBERLEY J. JOYCE, ESQ. established her current practice in late 2016, after being an associate with Lee & Rivers LLP (formerly Lee & Levine LLP) from early 2007 until late 2016. Ms. Joyce is a 2002 graduate of Boston College (summa cum laude with distinction in Economics), where she was a member of the honor society Alpha Sigma Nu, and a 2005 graduate of Suffolk University Law School, where she was a recipient of the Jurisprudence Award in Professional Responsibility. Ms. Joyce is admitted to practice in Massachusetts state courts and before the U.S. District Court, the First Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Ms. Joyce is a member of the Family Law sections of both the Massachusetts and Boston Bar Associations, and is member of the Amicus Committee of the Massachusetts Bar Association. She is Vice Chair of the MBA’s Family Law Section Council, and past chair of that Council’s education committee. Ms. Joyce has maintained an active role in the MBA’s continuing legal education programs, both in developing ongoing courses and authoring course materials, and also in moderating and acting as panelist in programs. She was Program Chair of and lecturer at the MBA’s 2009 “Recent Developments in Family Law” seminar and author of the program materials. She was a contributing author for the MBA’s 2011 and 2012 Family Law Conferences and a panelist at the 2012 Family Law Conference. She was a moderator and dual panelist at the MBA’s 2014 Family Law Conference; a panelist at the MBA’s 2014 and 2015 programs on Critical Tax and Creative Compensation Issues and co-author of the materials for those programs; and co-chair of the 2016 and 2017 Family Law Conference committees. Ms. Joyce has also been a contributing author for program materials of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and has authored a chapter regarding alimony in divorce practice in the 2017 and 2018 editions of the Lexis/Nexis Massachusetts Family Law practice manual. Ms. Joyce is a trained conciliator and mediator, and a volunteer in the Norfolk and Middlesex County “Lawyer for the Day” programs. She has been recognized as a Massachusetts “Rising Star” by Boston Magazine’s and Law & Politics’ Super Lawyer publication.
