About
CRIMINAL DEFENSE: DUI, DRUGS, VIOLENCE, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, NO CONTACT ORDERS: As an Idaho native Kevin knows business in Idaho and he’s seen growth and also the influx of police officers from central California who are too used to applying painful, excessive force and who desperately need to “dial it down” and learn to “DE-escalate” and not exasperate a simple traffic stop or sad family situation. I have practiced aggressive criminal defense for over 20 years.DIVORCE & CHILD CUSTODY: TO MEN: I have seen good men get ruined by Civil Protection Orders and have seen women change custody with the stroke of a pen through unfounded, scurrilous allegations of domestic violence. I have seen this legislation turned on it's head, being used like a sword instead of a shield to protect them from abusive men. If you are a man and have had a CPO served on you, you can't wait! YOU NEED TO TALK TO AN EXPERIENCED ATTORNEY NOW! TO WOMEN: Don't allow an abusive father keep you from living a peaceful, purposeful, happy life. YOU DON'T HAVE TO LIVE WITH A NARCISSIST. Let me help you figure out what to do next financially. Let me put you at ease as you go through one of the most difficult things you'll ever go through. TO BUSINESS OWNERS: I understand business and tax laws and will help your partnership, small or large business or e-business grow and thrive in this new "POST PANDEMIC PERIOD" we now call normal. Whether it's uncertainty about how to begin a new business or worries about a present business in a compettative market, let me show you how to be compliant with tax and employment regulations.TO YOUNG PEOPLE AND COUPLES: I have seen credit card companies and unscrupulous lenders hurt students and young couples through predatory lending! I will be happy to guide you through the steps of getting your money back, and will help you sue unscrupulous lenders. I will show you how bankruptcy should be viewed as tool of business and not a failure in business. I am a father and grandfather and love calling Idaho my home. I am careful and thoughtful and I listen well. If you need someone who knows the law and has mastered the courtroom then I am the lawyer you need.

Kevin is such a out standing attorney he doesnt rest until he gets the job done! He made it so i was the custodial parent and is still fighting for me through this rough custody case. I couldnt ask for a better attorney, if you need help kevin is the man you need!
Kevin is one of the better attorneys one could ever come across! He’s attentive, patient, and well versed in the law. He listens and prepares to get the best result possible. Kevin is very knowledgeable of the law. I hired Kevin for a case and he was excellent. He prepared, had a “Perry Mason” moment, and the judge rightfully dismissed my case. I would highly recommend Kevin!
I was referred to Kevin through the Idaho State Bar Lawyer Referral Service. We met for a 30 minute consultation and during that meeting, Kevin listened intently to me and reviewed my documentation and photos. I felt respected and unrushed. Kevin asked to review my materials overnight. He contacted me the next day to say that he would be happy to represent me and felt that I had a winnable case. That was a relief. Kevin explained all my options, including representing myself in Small Claims Court. This is the path I chose to pursue due to financial constraints. Kevin has been awesome about answering my questions (even after the consultation meeting was over) and has given me a sense of confidence to represent myself in Small Claims Court. I have just filed my claim, so don’t yet know how things will turn out. However, if I do end up needing an attorney for this claim or in the future, a call to Kevin will definitely be in order.
I had Kevin Rogers represent me for a criminal court hearing. I had been on probation and served half my time. We went to court to see if the judge would release me from probation early. Kevin referred to some of my reference letters I submitted to the judge. He said so many encouraging words to the judge and stated the obvious. I had done so well on probation, I did everything asked of me, I turned my life around and not only did I deserve this request but I earned it. The whole time Kevin was speaking I was in tears. I didn't stop crying until the hearing was over. The judge was very pleased and said this kind of behavior is what we like to see happen when we place people on probation. I was granted early release from probation. One of my proudest days ever thanks to Kevin!
I've been working with Mr. Kevin Rogers for several years now in a custody battle for my now 9 year old son. In the beginning, before even reopening the case I would frequently communicate with Kevin. He was always very good about getting back to me within the same day. Best advice he gave me was to keep track of everything my ex did to deny visits. Dates, time, brief descriptions. The courts had us do mediation and integration therapy. My ex of course drug his feet the whole time dragging the case out for a little over a year. Which eventually led us to trial. We were able to recall almost all the denied visits while in trial. The trial was brutal for me because I have been in and out of my son's life due to being in prison almost 2 years, relocating 4 hrs away from my son and my ex denying most of my visits over the last 6 years. Kevin did an amazing job at relaying to the judge the facts pertaining to the case. In the end the judge came up with a new order that allowed me to have every other weekend, holiday’s, spring break and summer time with my son in my care. I finally get to bring my son home for the first time in 6 years! This new order is very simple and easy to understand. Now if my ex denies my visits there's not going to be any confusion with the language of the order and he will be held in contempt with the highest punishment. I have so much gratitude for Kevin. There’s no way I could have gone through this battle without him. He always knew what paperwork to draw up and was very quick to get them submitted to the courts. Kevin will be my attorney no doubt till my son is 18!
I hired Kevin as my divorce attorney. He was excellent!!!! I hadn’t been through a divorce before so I had a lot of questions. He was patient, listened always, & explained everything. Kevin worked for what was best for me & I received a divorce settlement that was better than I expected. I recommend him to anyone needing an attorney. He will be your greatest advocate.
Kevin is well educated and truly makes vigerous attempts to make sure you are understood and heard. I live in Oregon and have never met kevin face to face. I put my money on him and I am so beyond grateful I did!! This process was almost a year and he remained patient with all my questions and made every attempt to make sure everything was honest and true. I am beyond grateful for all his assistance and with out a doubt will continue to hire him for any future needs.
He was honest and informative. I did not have to retain him but he gave me advice for my situation.
Kevin helped my son get a full acquittal when the prosecutor’s office and policeman involved exaggerate things so badly and as to make him out a terrible person for Nothing more than being accused of something. Kevin was brilliant on a couple points that helped the jury have a clear understanding of the circumstances and an objective view of the situation even though the ada county prosecutor’s office had a very well organized and aggressive presentation. We are so appreciative of Kevin’s preparation and presentation in court.
So far I only met Kevin for a consultation about custody and child support, but he was helpful, knowledgable, understanding, and non-judgmental. He laid out options, answered all my questions, and I never felt like he was trying to talk me into anything for his own benefit. It is also clear from our conversation that he has plenty of experience in similar cases to mine. I'm not sure yet whether I'll need further counsel in the matter I brought to him, but if I do, he'll be my first call.
