Kerri assisted me with my will and estate matters. She was very skilled and professional. I would highly recommend her to others.
I am a personal injury attorney, who needed immediate assistance in opening up an Estate in a wrongful death case. Kerri was professional, efficient, and easy to work with. I will use in the future again if needed!
Kerri Castellini did a simple will package that included a will, general power of attorney, health care directive, and health care power of attorney. My situation isn't complicated, but I do have rental properties and some related estate planning issues related to my mother's estate. Kerri was very knowledgeable and she and her staff were warm and personable. Her services were reasonably priced and high quality.
Kerri was a great asset in helping me, a complete neophyte, in all aspects of taking care of the estate. She laid everything out, and was there when needed. We had a bit of a glitch with the closing of the sale for my mother's condo, and she jumped in with both feet and saved the day. I would unreservedly recommend her in every aspect.
Ms Castellini recently assisted my wife and myself in preparing our wills and estate plans. At all stages of the process she patiently explained our options and guided us through unfamiliar territory. She patiently explained the law and assisted us in choosing the options best suited to our particular needs. She handled the process efficiently, but still took the time to patiently answer our many questions. I recommend her services to anyone in need of estate planning services.
Unexpectedly faced with need to quickly find DC probate counsel and being from out of state- made this task quite challenging. Thankfully, a retiring DC estate attorney referred me to Kerri as someone who was highly competent -ethical-and charged a fair rate for services rendered. The moment I met Kerri- I knew she was the right choice. High energy, competent, and personable- I engaged her firm after initial meeting. My first time ever with probate process- Kerri guided me every step of the way. Although probate took longer than I had hoped-- I am grateful I had Kerri looking after all the details and keeping entire process on track. In addition to being highly competent and thorough- Kerri has a terrific sense of humor combined with passion for what she does. Over what sometimes seemed a never ending process and numerous court deadlines-- these two traits proved invaluable. I highly recommend Kerri to anyone looking for estate/probate guidance and assistance with a personal touch often lost in today's business world.
Kerri is an expert in Estate Planning and I recommend her whenever anyone has a question about this area of law. Kerri is extremely knowledgeable, competent, dedicated, personable and thorough.
When we had a baby, my husband and I decided that it was time to consider estate planning. We wanted to have wills and, more importantly, we wanted to specify what would happen to our son in the event that we passed. Kerri was able to explain complicated legal concepts to us in English, and highlighted some of the major differences between VA, MD, and DC with regard to some of the things we were trying to accomplish. She also considered and explained tax consequences, which we had not even thought about. We were by no means her biggest client, asset-wise. However, we never had to chase her down for anything -- she always replies instantly to any question, no matter how small, and she will keeps you posted as to the status of the work she's doing for you. The fact that Kerri is a notary as well is an added bonus, as it saves you a separate trip when you have to execute the documents! Lastly, over the past two years since we signed the original documents, Kerri has always promptly updated anything that needs updating, such as when I finally decided to change my last name. Again, these seem like minor changes but they matter a lot, and she never made us feel like we were annoying for needing these minor adjustments after the original documents were done.
