I was referred to him because of his professionalism and expertise in Federal criminal matters. My husband was charged with a federal white collar crime. Mr. Reed handled my husbands case like a pro he worked with all his knowledge was able to get the Government to admit that they had lied on some material facts. My case was reduced to the best outcome possible. The federal judge that was on my case only spoke highly of Mr. Reed. He is one if not the only best criminal trial attorney in O.C.
Excellent attorney. He was able to get all charges completely dismissed. Throughout the process he explained all possible outcomes, the process and exactly what to expect as far as court appearances. I would recommend him to anyone, he handled my case with total professionalism.
I was facing 4 felony counts, even dough the charges were blown out of proportion for a self defense case, Mr. Reed was able to prolong the case in order for witnesses and court paper work to be readily available and reviewed in a timely manner by him and myself. I had previously hired a lawyer before Kenneth that only took my money and B.S. me through the majority of the process. I was recommended to Mr. Reed by some of my acquaintance that had issues with the law before, and either able to plea bargain or have the charges reduced or dropped. I was satisfied with the results of my case and was also able to keep my job employment with any loss of time.
Beware of this attorney Mr. Kenneth Reed already had his license suspended once. Don't waste your money I lost 4,000 dollars because he only refunded a 1,000 dollars and sent me a bill for some phone calls I made asking for information, a text I sent Klaudia and the phone call he made to dmv, other than that they did nothing but tell me that he was busy on a case and that he hadn't had time but would get back to me asap something that never happened until I just hired another lawyer Alison Saros is great she filed for a motion and actually got the job done. It was bit messy but after all she's spectacular at doing her job unlike Mr. Kenneth R. Just saying watch out I don't recommend you waste your money with this attorney.
I tried for years to believe this man, who was court appointed to represent my son, would turn out to be effective. I tried calling him to just get his paralegal telling me he was too busy to take my calls and that I could leave him a message. He - not once - actually called me. It would merely be me calling the office or writing letters. Ultimately, my son waited YEARS before this man told him that he had been too busy to interview ANY witnesses (my son had given him a list of favorable witnesses) nor ensure any forensic analysis of the evidence was done. The Court told Reed that he could not delay the trial any longer (no more continuances would be entertained). The result was Reed telling my son to take a deal (10 years in prison) or face the maximum sentence of over 20 years in prison. I cried and cried knowing that my son should have gotten a chance to actually effectively defend himself against the charges - which the favorable witnesses noted (along with my son) were based on false statements of facts. A forensic analysis could have corroborated this - had Reed bothered to conduct such analysis. This man is very dangerous. He has a case load that is staggeringly large due to both the State and Federal Courts appointing him to indigent clients. It is obvious he just does not have the ethics required to be anything other than a failure of a lawyer. He lacks the integrity to take no more cases than any one man could possibly effectively litigate. Stay away from this man at all costs!
I understand the uncertainty of the outcome of legal representation. But Mr. Reed failed to appear for the court hearing which resulted a bench warrant issued out to my name. I ended up hiring another attorney to take over the case and I definitely would not recommend Kenneth Reed. He was hard to reach and never seemed to care about the case nor the client. Rather spend little more money and find yourself a lawyer who does care.
Not the quality of the attorney one would want to handle any Federal case. He may know Federal procedures, and does seem to try his best, but the Criminal Justice System is way above his pay grade. Witness the fact that he still practices predominantly as a "court appointed attorney" which is paid at a substantially lower hourly rate than even an architect or a plumber. He failed to keep me informed, and court dates were missed as a result. He was not readily available for personal meetings, although he was willing to meet at night or on weekends. Unfortunately, that was not satisfactory to my lifestyle....................and I was the client! Perhaps his caseload was too big, or his personal life took priority, but I always felt like I was "imposing" on his time. I rarely thought that my case was very important to him. I will say that he did seem trustworthy and I rated him as such. But I believe he is just an average attorney at BEST. Certainly NOT someone who you would want to be responsible for your case.
