Marshall Silberberg is a very BUSY Attorney! Always working behind the scenes !Now saying that, HE turned my case around and resolved it in a reasonable timeframe! I give him 5 STARS hands down!
I had horrilbe experience He took my case more than 6 month ago and did nothing on it at all. He was good only before I signed the contract. They, he threw my case to the corner and didn’t do anything about it. All this time I tried to reach him a lot, calling, leaving messages, e-mailing, but nothing helped. He never replied to e-mails and never called back. In other words, he ignores his clients and treats them as a trash. His secretary is worst than he is, very rude and unprofessional. She just hung up on me after yelling. After multiple attempts to reach him, and after being humiliated by his secretary, I e-mailed and stated that if he doesn’t reply, I will file a complaint with the State Bar of California, he called and stated that declines my case (after keeping it for more than 6 month and after statute of limitations passed already) Think multiple times before signing the contract with this man.
In my opinion, Marshall's handling of my case was so poor that he ended up bungling a case that he initially said was fairly straightforward and would likely result in a significant settlement. Marshall appeared to have done little preparation for the defendant's deposition; he does not appear to have a good network of expert witnesses; and he did not appear to be knowledgeable about the important details of my case. In my opinion, Marshall's lack of organization, lack of attention to detail, and excessive procrastination resulted in our losing the case. Marshall had an excellent reputation when he was on the defense side. Perhaps his heart is not in the plaintiff side, or maybe it's just time for him to officially retire.
I have to agree with the last review completely, and wish I had looked this attorney up first before hiring. He is generally out of the office, does no communication with you after signing you up, does no outreach, and has no clue about your case since he doesn't appear to have done any of the legwork. He was apparently good at some point. Not so much now. I had a fairly easy case that got botched beyond repair and we lost. Would not rehire.
It is very disappointing to hire a lawyer you cannot trust. He demonstrates almost complete disregard for his clients. He neglected my case and procrastinated so long, that he ended up bungling the case beyond repair. This should have been a relatively case to win or settle, and I ended up with nothing but frustration. He seems to have lost his edge.
