Ken is honestly a wonderful lawyer who provides great counsel. In handling my divorce he was able to minimize drama, protect my interests, and keep his hours and fees to a minimum. Ken got me the best outcome in a very difficult situation. Going through a divorce is tough, Ken managed to get my divorce done as quickly and efficiently as possible. He is a genuine and honest person, who is clearly well connected and well liked in the law community. He is ethical, strategic, and focused. Ken was referred to me by a friend who spend years and an absolute fortune trying to get divorced until he hired Ken who was able to get it finalized. He’s the best!
I was 6 years deep in a divorce with no end in sight. Stuck in what i consider a corrupt family court system lacking any accountability. My former attorney and opposing council were working brilliantly together stirring the pot for their own mutual selfish financial gain. I thought I’d lose my children and my business. As soon as Ken stepped in everything changed. I went from playing defense to offense as tables turned and ultimately settled on terms I never for a second thought would be possible. I know for certain that “IF” i started with Ken from day one that the divorce would never have turned into the nightmare it was. Ken saved my life. In 30 years of business working for myself, he’s the first honest attorney I’ve ever met.
My experience with Ken could not have been better, no one wants to go through a divorce, however life happens and it was of great comfort to me to know that Ken was there for me, and sometimes protecting me for myself. He was clear and direct, and when I was at me worst he was very accurate and descript on how things would get better and they did. I was very clear o how I wanted my relationship with my children to remain as normal as possible and he was very careful to make sure that was a reality for me. Again divorce happens, and if anyone were to ask I would recommend Ken in a minute.
Ken completely restored my faith in lawyers. I began my divorce with an attorney who persistently swept all relevant issues under the rug. Oddly she did not want to surface the abuse my daughter and I experienced throughout my marriage (sadly she’s a GAL for many children). I started looking for a new attorney and during my hunt for a lawyer with heart (which I thought was impossible), Ken came highly recommended by a friend and I couldn’t be more thankful for the referral. During the duration of the divorce, there was never a moment when I doubted his intentions or decisions. He was genuinely on my side and he put his all into everything he did for my case. Ken kept me in the loop with every minor detail, ensured I was aware of all my options and covered every possible angle… Nothing was left untouched or not talked about. With an extremely difficult working relationship with the opposing counsel and an abusive alcoholic husband, Ken handled the case with ease and pure grace. He successfully ended a divorce process that felt painfully endless to me. The outcome was MORE than I could have EVER hoped for… for both my daughter and I. Ken is absolutely incredible in his line of work!
Ken is wonderful. If you want someone tough but ethical this is your guy. He's the opposite of the Fairfield County lawyer-sharks who extend the drama to get as much money as possible -- but Ken out maneuvers them. He obtained the best possible outcome for me in a hard situation. Ken is trustworthy and puts client interests first. He consistently helped me make choices that minimized unneeded drama (in a toxic and frightening situation.) I came out of the divorce with protections for my child, financial security and the right to move from Connecticut to my home state. Everything I needed to rebuild my life. Ken's retainer and rate were fair and he did not charge for all sorts of little things that all the other lawyers I interviewed charged for. He made a clear attempt top minimize hours charged and keep his fees manageable. Ken handled my ex-husband brilliantly, even though my ex is very difficult to manage and suffers from a serious psychological condition. He was extremely persistent and tough -- but kind. Ken even maintained a positive and friendly relationship with the other attorney in a situation that could have been quite adversarial. In fact, he maintained a great relationship with all the judges and lawyers and seemed to know everyone. Like it or not, you will probably get to know your divorce lawyer really well. (Like when you are stuck together all day in a dingy courthouse room...) Ken is a great guy and worth getting to know. He is a family man who partners with his (adorable) dad in a vintage law building in this seriously cute mid-Connecticut preserved small town (you can pick up great, cheap antiques after your appointment -- or like, have tea.) He obviously loves his wife and kids, can recommend the best budget-friendly contractor --heck he raises backyard chickens. I challenge anyone to find a lawyer who is as simultaneously seasoned and tough -- but also so down to earth. The guy could star in a wholesome 1950's black and white sitcom about being a divorce lawyer -- not kidding. Divorce sucks. Nothing is more painful, stressful or upsetting. Do yourself a favor, and make is a little less horrible, by hiring this gem of a lawyer.
Ken handled my divorce back in 1998 as well as a personal injury case in 2009. With my divorce he was able to deal effectively with my abusive, nasty husband and his lawyer with amazing results. He not only got me a home run but I call it a grand slam. He made life so much easier for me and my 3 young children. In my personal injury case, he did everything with integrity, he dotted all the i's and crossed all the t's and again did an amazing job. I have recommended Ken over and over again and everyone has been so pleased with his work as well as how calm, compassionate and understanding he was thru the process. Yet he works like a pit bull... getting the job done. A great combination. I AM PROUD AND HONORED TO CALL KEN MY ATTORNEY.
I hired Ken to handle my divorce. I could not have asked for better representation during such trying times. Not only was I happy with how he handled the legalities of my case, I was as impressed with how he dealt with me during such an emotional time. I would highly recommend ken.
Ken did a great job for me. He dealt with my difficult, narcissistic Ex-husband very professionally, without ever losing his cool, and we won the case. I highly recommend him!
Ken was my divorce attorney last year. He really helped me through a difficult time and I am in a much better place this year- both financially and personally. My ex-wife can't say the same thing about the lawyer she hired. I strongly recommend Ken if you need a divorce.
