While I can't discuss my case, I can tell you that Attny. Lindauer, fearlessly and single handedly, took on a very strong opponent to win my case. He was also compassionate and kind throughout the very stressful ordeal, and I'll never forget that. Unlike typical attorneys, it's so obvious that his clients don't just represent dollar signs to him. He really cares! [He could be retired, but has chosen to stay working, because he loves helping people.] He's smart as a whip, brave, sharp, honest as the day is long, and well regarded and respected by all, including me, and I highly recommend him.
I met Attorney Lindauer when I was working with the most amazing man and Attorney I had ever known (Herbert Finbury). I had hired Attorney Lindauer for 2 cases. One was a business purchase agreement. Very simple to me. Ken did all the work and I proceeded with my daily life. Attorney Lindauer also assisted with a family probate matter (those are truly the harder ones). Not only was he professional he was truly empathetic. Point blank... He cares, his passion, knowledge and strength truly give you strength. The outcome was considerably favorable. He has an amazing team of colleagues. I could write a book. This is simply a recommendation. I recommend that you'd be a fool to not consider him and his team! I'd hire him a thousand times again.
This is the second time I have hired attorney LINDAUER to unfortunately file for bankruptcy for me, due to illness. I also recommended a couple who were also very pleased with his work. He ALWAYS returns phone calls and emails. He never made me feel like I was taking too much of his time. He always patiently answered all of my questions, and was a wealth of information. I would recommend him in a heartbeat!!!
My main issues: Non-communicative...would not answer e-mail or telephone, cut corners... re-used documents without checking the facts to determine if they changed, sloppy work...errors and omissions in paperwork that needed correction, provided options but ultimately did not handle the case according to my instruction. Quality of work/service aside, generally a soft spoken, nice guy. If you need legal work, however, I would keep looking.
This lawyer represented me in a divorce case. I would bet any money that he was working for my ex! Very cozy with opposing attorney. Agreed with everything they wanted and advised me that "You can pay me to fight them or just get it over with" He made zero changes to the 45 page agreement that the opposing attorney proposed. When I asked him to explain the calculations in the retirement section, he stated they were " just an example out of a plan guide, they mean nothing,,, its a simple 50/50 split" Boy was he wrong!! Unbelievable dis-interest in doing his job! Unfortunate thing is, a family friend relayed a similar story the week before my court date, I didn't fire him then!
This lawyer lost an unloseable case. Took the case and then seemed to keep seeing the other side. Got way too cozy with the opposing counsel. He was willing to settle at any cost. Extremely weak and passive. Never got my side out and never challenged opposing counsel, who was very aggressive and willing to lie and misrepresent the facts at every turn. As a result, the case dragged on much longer than necessary, got muddled with misinformation until I ran out of money. He didn't consult with me before making agreements with opposing counsel.
