I had a consultation with another local law firm in town before coming to see Mr Frizzell. The previous lawyer was young and did not really tell me what her thoughts were re: the case or what she thought she might be able to do. I have hired a few lawyers before, including family lawyers, and all of them will tell you what the possible outcomes might be, or what options there might be to get the charges reduced. If she wasn't able to "sell" herself to me in the consultation, how persuasive would she be in court? So I came to see Ken Frizzell and I was immediately put at ease. He was calm, confident, and most importantly, experienced. He made no promises but he told me that there might be options to get the charges reduced or even completely dropped. He appeared for me in court even though I was late because I was confused about which courtroom to go to! And yes, he was able to go for a plea bargain type of situation which allowed me to take a class to avoid charges. I couldn't be happier with my experience with Kenneth Frizzell.

If you are not a fan of empty promises, outright lies, overpriced legal service (and I use the term very loosely), and receiving the maximum penalty for your crime, then hire someone else. In fact, go to ANYONE else but him. I got a DUI a few years ago, so I went to this attorney to see what he could do to help me. I was assured by his case manager that even though the BAC I blew was relatively high, everything would be fine and that Frizzell "never loses a case". Naturally, I let out a heavy sigh of relief, and then forked over the money for his "services". Eight months later, it all came full circle on what I had gotten myself into. Frizzell arrived at the courthouse and told me that the BAC I blew was "too high" and couldn't get the charge reduced (refer to above where I was told to not worry about it). Then, he said that a new law had recently been enacted where if I take the case to trial (that I would have to pay him extra for) and lose, I would go to jail for up to 6 months. A few months after he essentially twisted my arm into pleading guilty and getting the maximum penalty under law (the very result I paid to have not happen), I come to find out that there was no "new law" that came into effect. It turns out that Ken, to no one's surprise, lied and subsequently ruined many aspects of my life for years to come. As the other reviewer said, if you are unfortunate enough to retain his services, record every in-person/telephone conversation you have with him. It is almost guaranteed you will catch Mr. Frizzell in a lie, which would help in a case against him with the BBB and/or Nevada State Bar.

When you go for your consultation, you will be told "not to worry" and that this and that will happen and then you pay him. From that point on, be prepared to be lied to, get the maximum penalty under law, and get treated like you do not exist whenever you try to get a hold of him. was amazing...eleven months dealing with him and he was never in the office outside of the time you sign the paperwork to obtain him and threaten to file a formal complaint with the State Bar of Nevada. He is unprepared in court and quite honestly makes you look like a fool in front of the entire courtroom for hiring him. Long story short? As of the time of this review, the Nevada Bar is conducting an investigation on him because I recorded every conversation, court appearance, and phone call to back up my claim. He obviously got the message from me when I filed a complaint and acted like a child who just got caught stealing in his written response to the Bar and I, I've never once looked for a refund or pursued legal action against this guy, but I will do everything I can to make sure vulnerable people in a time of need do not become victims? If you are stuck with him already...record every piece of info. you can so that you can cover yourself for when you may NEED to file a complaint. If you think this is just a rant from a guy who is upset he got in trouble with the law, think again, then look at reviews from other people who have had the EXACT same experiences I have had. You are just a number to him once he receives your money and he "thinks" that there is nothing you can do about it.
