After working as a law clerk in Beasley Allen Law Firm’s Personal Injury/Products Liability Section, Stephanie began working in the firm's Toxic Torts Section in April 2011, handling cases related to the BP Oil Spill litigation and settlement. She is now an associate in the Personal Injury/Products Liability Section, where she handles complex litigation and appellate proceedings.Notable CasesStephanie has successfully argued and tried cases in state and federal courts throughout Alabama and the United States. She has been a part of trial teams that have received over $30 million in verdicts or settlements and has become a legal scholar on the topic of personal jurisdiction. She frequently writes and speaks on this subject in court and at legal conferences.Most recently, she was a member of the trial team that secured a verdict from a Georgia jury in favor of the family of Alfred Holt, who was killed after a Michelin Pilot tire failed on the recreational vehicle he was driving and the RV crashed into a tree. The case was brought against Southland Motor Home Center, which provided maintenance and service on the RV and had refused to take any responsibility for his death.Professional AssociationsAdmitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States, Alabama state courts and all Alabama federal courts, Stephanie is an active member in the American Association of Justice, Attorney Information Exchange Group, Alabama Association of Justice, Montgomery County Young Lawyer’s Association and Montgomery County Association for Justice. She is president of the Montgomery chapter of the Alabama Head Injury Foundation.EducationStephanie graduated Summa Cum Laude from Troy University in 2007 with a double major in political science and psychology. Before starting law school, she worked as a crisis counselor with the Federal Emergency Management Agency during the Enterprise, Alabama, tornado recovery efforts. Stephanie graduated Summa Cum Laude from Faulkner University’s Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in May 2011. While in law school, she received ten Best Paper Awards and the Best Advocate Award in Trial Advocacy. She served as a senior editor on the Faulkner Law Review and as a senior member of the Board of Advocates.Community InvolvementStephanie and her husband, David, are members of Frazer United Methodist Church. They enjoy spending time with their daughter, family and friends.
