I was born and raised in Michigan. I received my law degree from The Florida State University College of Law and my undergraduate degree from The University of Florida. Prior to law school, I worked as a legal assistant for Ellis, Ged, and Bodden, P.A. in Boca Raton gaining vast experience in the transactional, personal injury, and mass tort departments of the firm. It was at this firm where my passion for justice began to grow. While attending The Florida State University, College of Law, I worked for the Florida Justice Association spearheading their law school outreach program and becoming the Director of Law School Outreach. I was working directly with then President, Senator Gary Farmer spreading the FJA’s message of open access to courts and defending justice to law students across the state. After law school, I relocated to Northwest Florida, where I worked for Michles & Booth, P.A. representing injured victims. My wife and I moved to Tampa in 2017 where I have had the honor of opening Michles & Booth, P.A.'s Tampa office. I bring with me years of experience and a passion for justice, to zealously represent those injured due to no fault of their own. When I slipped and fell and shattered my shoulder -I looked around and interviewed. several law firms . Most were not really interested because they felt it was too small of a case ( not enough of a fee for them ) Andre Lama told me he would take the case and that it would take a while but he would represent me in the best possible way . He did what he promised and touched base with me to let me know any updates and I was happy with the outcome ! I would highly recommend him
From our first meeting, Mr Lama made us feel at ease and at the same time explained completely and very clearly how he was going to proceed with our case. He did exactly what he told us on that first meeting and helped us minimize the 20% medical charges we incurred. We will definitely use him again if needed. Also, will recommend him to our friends. Andre is very professional and was beyond helpful through the entire process. I was blown away with how Mr Lama handled my case. He kept me informed on every update on my case every step of the way, I never had to call him and even though my case was small it was never treated as such.
