I hired Kelly for my divorce and child custody case, and she represented me all the way through trial. She explained things and answered all of my questions through out the entire year long process. She was great about trying to settle or negotiate things out of court to keep costs down, but also was not afraid to go in to court and fight for me. I would recommend her in a heart beat to all my friends and family.
Kelly was honest and caring...and we would use her services again if needed.
I was drawn in by the first phone call I made to the office and Kim made me feel so great by taking the time to listen and walk me through so much. One word for Kelly... HONEST. Never have I met someone who took time on her day off to meet with me while I was in town from work. She listened to our story and flat out said... Don't proceed. You might win but you might loose! That's honestly. She wasn't after the money but truly there to help! She gave us many ideas and talked to us as a parent having gone through much of the same issues. Her advise is something that we go back to quite often. It has helped us through so much. I had to call and ask Kelly another question a year later and again, So helpful. I can't thank them enough for helping us as a family. I would go back to Kelly at any point. I wouldn't think twice about it. Thank you Kelly (and Kim) for both being honest. That's hard to find now days.
I know and have worked with a number of family law attorneys through the years but Kelly Malone is the one I chose to represent me when I needed an attorney. Kelly possesses skills and knowledge far greater than the average attorney and she has compassion and understanding for her clients. Her years of experience and her ability to remember details about individual cases and the court rules help to make her awesome in the office and even more so in the court room. She is definitely my first choice when in need of a family law attorney.
I have known Kelly Malone for a long time but only recently have I been given the chance to see her in action as an attorney. Her ability to manage the volume of information necessary to represent a family law client astounds me. She never misses a beat with my information. Her knowledge of the laws and rules is remarkable and keeps her on top of the game in the court room. I would highly recommend Kelly Malone to anyone in need of a family law attorney.
Kelly did a great job handling my case. She is a well-trained, ethical lawyer and has been in practice for many years. She expeditiously resolved my matter, and was very cost-effective. I highly recommend her services. I am an attorney in a different field, and I chose her over the other attorneys in the community that I know. In addition, she is a pleasure to work with.
One of the most unprofessional, ill advised and unprepared attorneys I've met to date. Smelt like an ashtray every time I was able to actually meet with her instead of a run around by her secretary. Anytime we had a hearing she would be outside smoking her cigarettes and styling her hair. Charged outrageous amounts for simple desk duties I could've preformed myself and before my very last hearing, she had reverify questions with me to remind herself of key components as well as recite them to herself so that she would remember what she was even there for. Once in the hearing, nothing that was ever discussed as crutial means to our case was ever presented (doubting she even remembered) and ultimately ended up in the same spot I was in before I hired her and over a thousand in debt than excepted. Mind you it took me 3 months after eliminating her representation to even get a statement of how my retainer was even utilized. And she charged me over $50 for any email sent asking for the statement she was behind with in itself. Never again will I use her to represent a family custody matter nor would I recommend her to any of my peers.
Kelly Malone was hired to assist us in a family child custody dispute. Whenever I spoke to her, I was often given the impression she was confused or simply didn't know how to answer the topic at hand. After talking to three other lawyers in the Spokane, WA area, I realized my several thousand dollars (@$5000?) has totally gone to waste. She didn't move or take action on subjects and requests we asked for and other lawyers have advised our requests could have easily been requested and granted by the courts (like drug tests for parents with a known drug history!) All legal counsel I spoke with after her agreed she did not apply herself and defend us as well as she could have. For someone being licensed for 16 years in the legal profession, it sure doesn't show. DON'T EVER HIRE HER!
I hired Kelley over 4 years ago and in the past 4 years she has done nothing. Everything was agreed upon so everything should have been filled along time ago. I paid her well over what's she is worth. Recently in a conversation I said would meet with her but won't pay her a d dime and she told me she won't meet with me unless I pay her, I then told her I would hire another attorney then after that she agreed to meet with me for 30 min with no charge. I waisted over 6,000 on an attorney that has sat on her butt.
Kelly took my case almost a year ago and I have since switched Attorneys. While with her she was fired by Maxie law office. She is now in practice on her own. She did not send critical information to the opposing as she was supposed to on one occasion which resulted in a negative outcome for me. She also claimed to have emailed me something I never recieved. She said she left me a voicemail when she was in transition it was a voicemail I never recieved because when she finnaly touched bases with me she had the last digit in my phone number wrong. I told her all I wanted was to know how much I owed my wife a month and a firm parenting plan in place. None of that happend while I was with her I might as well have thrown away $3000.00 and 9 months with my kids because she did absolutley nothing for me.
