Sarah Vitt is a Junior Associate Attorney with Stange Law Firm, PC. She can assist clients throughout Johnson County, Kansas and the surrounding areas from the firm’s Overland Park, Kansas family law office.Sarah Vitt attended Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas, where she earned her Juris Doctorate in 2020. While in law school, she worked as a Clinic Intern focusing on Litigation. She was also a member of the Washburn Student Bar Association, serving as the Barristers’ Ball Co-Chair in 2018 and an ABA Representative from 2018 to 2019. Sarah also served as the Community Service Chair for Phi Alpha Delta from May 2018 to May 2019. She earned her undergraduate degree from Kansas State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies and Human Services, with a Pre-Law emphasis. While earning this degree, Sarah served in various roles for the Student Governing Association, including University Attorney General, a member of the Executive Committee, and a member of the Student Review Board. She was also awarded Judicial Board Member of the Year by the Student Governing Association for 2015-16. She was also a Pre-Law Ambassador and served as Loyalty Circle Chair and on the Elections Committee for Gamma Phi Beta. Sarah is currently licensed to practice law in the state of Kansas.Prior to joining the Overland Park, KS family lawyers at Stange Law Firm, Sarah worked as an Associate for a law firm in Leavenworth, Kansas. While in this role, she was tasked with interviewing potential clients to determine objectives and likely outcomes, while also representing clients in family law, estate planning, probate, civil, and business matters. She also spent time as a Law Clerk for a law firm in Topeka, Kansas where she would regularly perform legal research, assist with discovery requests and responses, motions, orders, journal entries, briefs, and letters to clients and opposing counsel. She would also regularly attend court hearings and dockets with attorneys.Outside of her legal practice, Sarah enjoys spending time outside with her Corgi/German Sheppard mix puppy, Mia. She can also often be found buried between the pages of a good book.
