I came to Kelli beaten up and discouraged with little hope of having any kind of a future. My ex-wife and I had done our divorce through the state's website OCAP. We really messed the whole thing up and our decree was a disaster. (Never sign a divorce decree without paying and attorney to review it for you). I had given too much away in the divorce and could not afford to pay my basic expenses. Our real property division terms were a mess. Kelli immediately put me at ease and took control of the situation. She knew exactly what to do from the first time I met with her. She worked aggressively and fairly on the case. She explained things to me in a way I could easily understand. We were able to negotiate a settlement that was better than I thought possible. I now have hope and I can live my life again thanks to Kelli. She is the best negotiator I have ever encountered. Hire Kelli to represent you!
I had a few bad experiences with attorneys prior to Kelli. I have been in a 5 year off and on custody case which has been very difficult. In the end, we ended up having to go to trial for a contested adoption. I was passed around to a few attorney's in a firm and then was finally assigned Kelli. She had the experience that we were looking for and is very knowledgeable. She took the time to meet with me and discuss the options. She was honest about pro's and con's and what the outcome could be. I appreciated that she was clear about producing the facts especially in a very emotional situation. This was very helpful for me. One area that I was particularly appreciative of is that she really knew my case. I know this may seem like a given, but it hasn't been my experience. She knew the facts, was able to give clear and knowledgeable rebuttal. In the end, we won the case. A long time coming and a difficult situation. She was patient with me and helped me feel prepared for the trial. Because it's a firm, I did find that scheduling time to talk was easier sometimes than emailing. The office and the first paralegals weren't responsive but that was not Kelli's fault. The last paralegal I worked with Miranda was really great.
