KAVITA SHARMA is a partner and spearheads the General Litigation Department at her firm. Her practice focuses on litigation of residential property disputes including landlord/tenant, partition, fair housing/discrimination, easement, non-disclosure and HOA litigation. Kavita also serves as litigation counsel to a nationwide underwriting corporation. Betweem 2013-2015 Kavita was an update author for the CEB California Landlord-Tenant Practice Guide. She has spoken on numerous MCLE programs for the State Bar including most recently at the State Bar Annual Meeting "The Pros and Cons of Using Standard Residential and Commercial Leases" She has also given landlord/tenant seminars to brokers, property managers and owners. Kavita currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar. Prior to serving on the Executive Committee, Kavita served as the Residential Landlord/Tenant Subsection Chair from October 2011-2013. From 2006- 2011, Kavita volunteered in representing low income, elderly and disabled tenants facing eviction through the Volunteer Legal Services Program of the Bar Association of San Francisco (currently the Justice & Diversity Center).
