Katie was so thorough and answered any questions I had, and explained them to me in detail, and was so supportive the whole process through.

We hired Katie to help us with all of our estate planning needs. She was very helpful and professional. She was also quite flexible and came to our home for each meeting. She remains easy to reach and communicate with via email and/or telephone. I am certain we will continue to enjoy working with her as we modify our estate plan in the years to come.

Katie was excellent when my husband and I were looking to create a trust for our family. She came to our home, explained all the very intricate details and options that are involved in a trust and was very patient with us and all of our questions. She is extremely responsive when you reach out to her and flexible in meeting times. She made this process feel easy and not overwhelming. I will definitely be recommending her to our family and friends.

Katie prepared an update to an existing trust that had been done in another state, plus provided additional documents, such as a financial power of attorney that the previous lawyer had not done. She put the updated trust documents as well as the originals into a binder, with a diagram explaining the basics of the trust and provided a DVD as well so we could have an e-copy. The original trust also did not create legacy trusts for the beneficiaries, so she created those as well. All in all, she did a very professional job, and a timely one as well, because the trustee, my mother-in-law, passed away a few months later. My husband, as executor, had no issues in handling his mother's affairs when she was ill and after she passed away.
