We used Russ Kessler to file taxes in 2013 and 2014. He made repeated errors, some of which were egregious including filing paperwork with the IRS that had my name misspelled and my birthdate incorrect. He also failed to provide documentation of our residency even after we asked if it was needed, and failed to file a 2441 for our daycare expenses (a standard form for which some software even has a pop-up prompt... Seems hard to miss). We've been hounded by the IRS regarding these mistakes, and he has the audacity to charge us his steep hourly rate to correct them, so we've had to do it ourselves resulting in hours on the phone with the IRS and hours of additional paperwork. He also doesn't typically respond to email, and when he does, the email is brief and lacking important detail often leaving us more confused. I would not recommend this firm for taxes.
