I am always very skeptical about hiring attorneys for anything. The vast majority seem to just want to run a bill up and are an unorganized mess when it’s go time. After calling around, I came to the realization quickly that Mrs Middlekauff was the attorney I felt most comfortable with. To say that choice was a great choice is an understatement! Mrs Middlekauff was very attentive during my case and spoke the truth, not just what I wanted to hear and then backpedal when the time came. I followed her advice EVEN when I wasn’t fond of it. She is the professional, not me. She was aggressive when she needed to be but always presented herself extremely tactfully. She is a woman of standards and morals. She made itemized invoices monthly and was very careful to stay within our budget. I never once had to wonder what was going on with my case and what was next. I never had to fight to speak to my attorney. If you’re looking for someone you can absolutely trust placing your entire life in their hands, You’ve found the correct person here. I hope to never have to hire a family attorney for anything else again but I know where to go if I do. Thank you Mrs Middlekauff for everything you have done for me.
Karen Middlekauff was referred to me by another prominent attorney in Orlando with regards to my alimony situation, and he was right. She is an excellent attorney. From my first meeting with Karen I felt at ease and confident as we discussed my options, and rights. Throughout the process Karen was well prepared, attentive, and genuinely protective over the outcome that worked best for me. Knowing my financial situation as a single parent she was also mindful of keeping costs at a minimal by guiding me to a settlement that was acceptable to me. I enjoyed working with Karen and her staff, and highly recommend her to help you with your case.
I hired Karen after my husband told me he didn't want to be married anymore after 32 years of marriage. Karen's empathy and professionalism was amazing! From our very first meeting/consultation she offered all of the options available to me and as we progressed through the divorce process, I felt so confident in having her by my side. She was always so prompt in responses by email and/or phone at any time of day/night. I am so very thankful to her and would highly recommend her to others any chance that I get.
When I first looked for a lawyer to represent me in my case, I had a set of requirements that I was looking for. I wanted someone who is close to my age (I'm in my thirties) because I believe many professionals in this age range are enthusiastic individuals who strive to build a name / life for themselves, having decent experience but has not gotten to a point where they have seen it all and was just going through the motion. And I believe being in similar age group will help the lawyer relate to my case more. I was also looking for someone who's a female so she can give me perspectives that I fail to notice (I'm a dude), and I felt females in general are just more detail oriented. It turns out Karen is precisely everything I could have hoped for. Her communication skills are superb, and by that, I meant her communications were clear, and she's very willing to explain my situation to me, or explain law terms to me; she often update me with my case status, and she gives sound advices based on best of her knowledge. She's also very persistent. I felt like she really was fighting for me and I felt very comfortable with leaving matters to her. Another reason why I felt she was fighting for me, was because she gave me advice on best ways to proceed ensuring I do not spend more than I have to. I'd recommend her to anyone who's looking for a family law lawyer. I mean, if you are looking for someone to fight for you, wont you feel great to have a "Karen" on your side? (sorry for this joke if you're reading this, Karen.) She really is great though. I will for sure hire her again if needed.
Mrs.Middlekauff is an excellent lawyer and very professional. Her staff is fantastic and pleasant. She always answer your call and and keep you update with email.I strongly will recommend her and if I need her service will used it again. Thank you very much.
After two failed family Attorneys I was recommended to Karen through a friend. From the very beginning Karen was very attentive, made me feel confident and comfortable with moving forward with my case. She even made countless calls to my previous divorce attorney in NY to make sure she had all the details, something which my past two attorneys failed doing which helped win my case. I am very thankful for all of Karens hard work and dedication, I can't thank her enough.
Karen helped me to navigate the process of fixing a parenting plan that was very poorly done the first time around (not by her or her firm!), with an ex-partner who did not want to make changes. She was extremely responsive and proactive, and she made the entire process as painless as it could be. I'm very grateful for her guidance and experience.
Hiring a lawyer it is never an easy task, especially as, more often than not, you have to seek counsel to deal with issues you never imagined you would go through, and as a result, might not be prepared for. That was me when I met Karen. In our first hour together she showed how compassionate she was towards me and my situation, she took the time to listen, to understand my concerns, and to show sympathy. And while she did all of that, she also showcased her amazing skills, her expertise, intelligence and strategy to help me go through one of the hardest events in my life. Karen was blunt and honest with me at all times, and tough when needed, which I very much appreciated. She is a caring professional with high standards of ethics and a very fair rate. She did an amazing job for me and I feel very fortunate to have found such a great professional to guide me through my divorce.
Karen came highly recommended from another attorney who is a best-in class practitioner in their respective area so I fully trusted his referral. Karen represented me in my divorce and did an amazing job - she is a good fit for males. I got a fair settlement as a result of her diligence and proactive nature. Karen's billings were fair and she works as quickly as possible with the client's needs always front and center. She is a quick and responsive communicator and always available for consultation - she is a budding superstar. Her defining characteristics which I very much valued and appreciated were first professionalism, candor, highly available and responsive and a strong desire to serve the client and close the case. I'd use Karen again without hesitation.
I enjoyed working with Karen (as much as you can while going through a divorce I suppose). I reached out to Karen early on in my process and she gave me practical counsel. I chose to file for divorce without an attorney; my ex then hired an attorney to get extension after extension. I then retained Karen to help me wrap things up. She presented me with my various options as well as what the potential outcomes might be (i.e. worst case, best case scenarios). In the end she helped me to avoid mediation (and the costs associated) and ulitmately got me to a settlement that I can be comfortable with. Let's face it, divorce isn't an easy, cheap or pain free process, but Karen did an outstanding job in communicating with me, keeping costs in mind and helping me come to a settlement quickly and would be in my best interest. I whole heartedly recommend Karen and have already given her name to two other colleagues.
