I used Jacksonville location. My divorce lawyer prepared wrong documents. Consulted 4 lawyers and the cheapest one wanted to fix it $2000.00 and all of them said that only option is guardianship. Well attorney who i spoke with was able to fix it with corrected quick claim deed taking less than $500!!! On top of it when i had question and emailed office, lawyer responded to me and as soon deed was recorded lawyer emailed me pdf file with information that it has been done and i should be receiving document from court in few days! I was a chapter 13 clients of McMurray law firm.. chapter 13 can be rather complicated. That's why they got one star. If it were not for that fact it would be zero. Now to the title explanation. They're law firm communication system is designed to keep you away. Meaning they do not want to hear from you in any circumstance. You're appointed contact person such as r Rodriguez will not return emails to your questions that are important to you. He just won't respond if he feels that your question is not important in his mind. As with the attorney McMurray. You'll just never see him or even hear from him. There's no way to get a hold of him. He is insulated between three to four layers. Don't even bother. They subcontract out work for your bankruptcy hearing. Meaning they contact a local attorney who may or may not be a bankruptcy attorney to attend with you to your bankruptcy hearing. The one I had actually I felt almost fell asleep when being interviewed at the trustee with myself. He looked like he was bored out of his mind. Be careful with your payments to this firm. I made mine in person at the Ocala Florida office and there was some confusion later in which I needed to prove my payment with an electronic copy of my receipt. I feel that I could have done better picking a bankruptcy attorney if I close my eyes and my finger pointed to a name on a screen. If you care to have a frustrating experience with your bankruptcy to make it even more frustrating then these are the people for you. They call me on time even in the hospital to make my payment, after that they know I was dealing with depression I pay 2500 dollars after I fell better I begin to call the office to do my paperwork for my bankruptcy, and nobody answer, they not answer my email or phone calls they just sure you paid the fee. That ok u can keep the money, for me is a learning experience be careful the attorney like you firm.

Hired this team to handle a foreclosure..They overcharged for what they did.I paid them for 3 years.In the end I negotiated my own modification..They also filed paperwork wrong at Marion county courthouse for me.I literally am driving back to Fort Lauderdale from Marion county courthouse to fix an error in paperwork they filed because their was still something open from 2015..Way to go McMuffy...Stop ripping people off and close already .

Run..Dont walk away from this firm or you will not only lose your home but all the money in fees to boot..I hired this "firm" after my original lawyer I hired had got severely ill and could no longer work.I had limited funds..This is why you will hire this firm..They are cheaper..and talk a good game...After you hire them..Good luck..You will pay the couple thousand to retain..You will get some time with that but then you will make monthly payments..During this time you would think they would keep you posted..nope..not even an email in 2 years fighting bank of America did I get..In hindsite I would have never hired an attorney period..I was able to negotiate a deal myself and modified the loan..These crooks did absolutely nothing for my case that dragged on from 2010-2015..I paid 200+ dollars a month for nothing..Do not hire these jokes..I cant believe really they are still practicing..I thought they were scammers from the market crashing after it was said and done...Im literally amazed to find them here..In the end ..I called the bank..I am the one that got my deal..It went from 160 something thousand down to 89,000..and 2% interest rate from 6%....Only hire an attorney if it is absolutely necessary..These criminals took thousands from me because I was naive and scared from facing a first time foreclosure..Never again..And do not hire these crooked shmucks who will just waste your time,patience ,money and maybe more as they did NOTHING to save my house from foreclosure and did NOTHING to do what I paid for..you’ve been warned
