I’ve received 7 speeding tickets in about 5 years now :( I’ve reached out to Justin for every one of my tickets and he has always been on top of my cases. With that being said , I’m very pleased to share that he has been very pleasant and efficient throughout the years . He has been able to dismiss my ticketed wreck-less driving points and lower my careless driving fines. Justin has pulled through time and time again, he deserves a big thumbs up !! You Rock Justin !!
From our first conversation Justin Set my mind at ease and took care of everything. He paid attention to our needs and always stayed in touch and was very thorough. He helped us get thru a difficult time,Thanks for all your help Sir.I will recommend him to anyone that needs a great lawyer in Columbia.
I hired Justin for a criminal case for my wife. He was rude, he wouldn't make calls back on time, and he kept vital information from me about the case. 8 months was wasted away with him as the lawyer. I felt betrayed after I found out key information he didn't tell me. I fired him as soon as I found out I wasn't being told the whole story, hired a new lawyer, and had it handled in a little over a month. With the new lawyer I could feel that they were on our side. With Justin, it felt like he was against us by not sharing any information that would help us in the case. Justin also lied saying a certain someone didn't make a police statement which I found out there was a statement with the new lawyer.
Wow, I don't even know where to start. Justin Kata was obtained for a divorce and custody case. He came into the picture after the first attorney had done 99% of the legwork. All Mr. Kata had to do was present the facts, along with obtain verification of a few items (health insurance premium, income, etc.). To date, Mr. Kata has not provided copies of any correspondence or any billing invoices. Likely since he didn't do the work. He sat at the hearing like a bump on a log. I asked the Judge if I could please speak and fortunately, she allowed me too. I basically represented myself. I was able to obtain some documentation after the hearing proving dishonesty on the other parties behalf, but the other information I have not been able to obtain since I am not an attorney and can't issue subpoenas. I have filed a complaint with the SC Bar Grievances for ethical violations and also requested assistance under the Client Assistance Program with the Bar. DO NOT hire Justin Kata. Were it not for my solid foundation of being the top parent and speaking up for myself in the courtroom, I would have gotten completely screwed instead of partially screwed.
