I met this lawyer to discuss my bankruptcy case, however due to other reasons I could not retain this lawyer. But I was charged $1,000 for an hour and 1/2 meeting (no retainer signed). I requested some money back, but never heard back. But I do see this attorney having good knowledge, so he gets 5 starts for that. But overall I was disappointed, because he didn't return the unused money, especially I explained that that money will help me with my delayed rent payment etc.. Anyway my experience doesn't mean you would experience the same as long as you are smart not to pay any money up front unless a retainer is signed, so on that front my own review for myself as a person is very poor, mean innocent :-).
