About

Jason Paul Beaulieu is a graduate of DeMatha High School, the University of Maryland (College Park), and the University of Maryland School of Law. Mr. Beaulieu has defended individuals, public sector entities, small businesses, and Fortune 500 companies in matters before federal and state courts as well as in mediations and arbitrations. His practice includes school liability, commercial litigation, insurance defense, construction, general liability, employment, contract disputes, trucking/transportation, and hospitality and entertainment. Mr. Beaulieu is a former speaker for the Maryland Defense Counsel’s (MDC) trial advocacy course and is a member of MDC’s judicial selections committee. He also has been a contributing writer for THE DAILY RECORD. Prior to founding Timmerman, Beaulieu, Hinkle & Esworthy, LLC, Jason was senior litigation counsel for a national insurance company specializing in the hospitality and entertainment industries. Before that position, Mr. Beaulieu was an associate and partner at a prominent Baltimore law firm for 10 years, which specialized in insurance and medical malpractice defense. Prior to law school and clerking for the Honorable Nelson W. Rupp, Jr. in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Mr. Beaulieu taught Spanish and English at DeMatha High School in Hyattsville, MD. As a student at DeMatha, he was the President of the National Honor Society and received the Alumni Award for General Excellence. At UMD Law, Jason was a member of the Maryland Law Review and a featured columnist for the law school newspaper. From 2013 - 2018, Jason has been voted by his peers as a Maryland Super Lawyer®, an honor bestowed on only 5% of practicing attorneys.
