Can greatness be defined? Is Jordan one of the greats? What about Wayne? See where I'm going with this? I hired Julie after needing counsel on a particular custody issue which in time went to trial. I was nervous about the case. I had folks in my ear telling me there wasn't a chance in green pastures, but these folks clearly didn't know there was someone in my corner by the name of Julie. Julie quickly became my hero. After every battle, she continued to fight. Her tenacity, perseverance, and by far honesty became a shoulder to lean on. If you're looking for someone who will be in your corner throughout the entire process. Work with you, understand what's happening and be very truthful with you, then don't hesitate. When it came to trial, Julie was extremely well prepared. Details were presented that proved helpful. The sheer awesomeness displayed was a banner for the rafters. I'm by far recommending Julie as she is truly an inspiration.
Julie handled my case during the most intense and scary part of my situation. She represented me throughout the PFA process and set the framework for future custody arrangements. She focused on all the right details (sometimes that meant pulling out what was important from upset rants), fought hard on my behalf, and made sure that the result protected me and my child (and my case) long after the PFA expired. Julie is straightforward and truthful with what you need to hear, and understanding of how difficult abuse and custody issues can be emotionally while you are going through them.
I hired Julie just a little over a year ago, and have no complaints. At our first meeting she drew out a timeline of what I would be going through. She is very straight forward and honest with you. She tells you how she feels something is going to go wheather that's what you want to hear or not. She has always gotten back to me in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Julie.
I hired Julie over three years ago to handle my divorce and custody case. She is consistently professional and responsive as well as very knowledgeable about the newest legislation and how it impacts my case. I've been fighting this court battle on and off for three years and I continue to use her services when I need to. This is because in a highly emotional situation involving chiled custody I can rely on Julie's calm nature to keep me in check. I highly recommend her to anyone facing either a divorce or child custody case.
Julie met with me going on one year ago when I had not one clue of what "divorce" and "filing for support" even meant. She guided me through a very difficult time in my life, all the while being supportive and direct. At times, I really needed this and it is clear that she knew when to be what. My divorce has been pretty amiable after the first few months but at the beginning, I was doubting almost everything and while she was my attorney and "tough as nails" when she needed to be for me in legal situations, she was so kind to me when I was crying and unsure of my future. Julie Colton, is an excellent attorney, for sure, and I will recommend her to anyone I come across that needs an attorney in the tragic event of support, custody and/or divorce.
Julie met with me for about a half hour to get my divorce started. I had no idea what I was doing and Julie was recommended to me by a very close relative that went to law school with her. She explained everything clearly and concisely in simple terms. She even drew a timeline of how and when things could and would happen. She encouraged me to do some things, discouraged me from some decisions but overall put the ball in my court which was fantastic. She knows what she is doing, she knows how to do it, and she doesn't play games. I recommend Julie without reservation or hesitation.
Not sure what happened. But it was not good ,not one kind word from any of the three laywers.spent $1500.00 just to get some letters and phone time then came the support hearing.my layer out of town told the night before to meet new layer at the court house she showed up late.no time to review case got hammered...Please be smarter than me.
