I met Julie six years ago during one of the hardest times in my life. She provided expert, high quality legal advice. She was the biggest advocate for both myself and my daughter. Her kindness and compassion were so sincere. Julie was always very accessible and available for any questions and concerns that I had. Then she represented me again during a child custody case. She was honest and always provided the best counseling and guidance. I highly recommend Julie. She is truly one of the best in the family court business.
Julie showed compassion throughout my very challenging divorce, I felt I could reach out with any of my questions and concerns throughout the process with no hesitation, she was always prepared and organized when we went to court proceedings, I was never unprepared or unaware of what was happening during my divorce . I was very pleased with my finalized divorce.
We have been battling with our custody case since 2009 and have been through 3 attorney's already. Julie came as a recommendation from a friend that was going through the same ordeal. I can not express how glad I am that we met with Julie and ultimately hired her to handle our case. She gets to the point and tells you exactly what you need to do in order to get the outcome you want. Shes tough and will not hold back when it comes to fighting for you. Julie was always reachable by phone or email and has continues to give us support and advise regarding our case. Walking into the courtroom with Julie, you can be confident that your case is in good hands.
Julie Cerio was my divorce and child custody lawyer. I entered in this with no clue as to what I needed to do, all I knew was that I needed a roof over my children's heads and primary custody of them. Julie did not "sugar coat" anything. She explained the law, what I was able to gain and lose and helped me come to decisions that I could live with and fight for things that I could not. She was available whenever I needed her whether it was over the phone, via email, or text message. She was knowledgeable, and a great support in the most difficult time in my life. I would recommend her to anyone going through a similar situation.
Julie Cerio is a very comfortable and trustworthy person to talk to. She always knows the right thing to do and is very responsible. Julie is very good at what she does and I would definitely recommend her to lots of people. She's an excellent lawyer!
Julie represented me five years ago and again this past year for custody and child support. I was very happy with her both times. She knows the law and answered all my questions that I had. I also like that Julie was always very honest with me. I never once felt as if she was telling what I wanted to hear. I respect and am thankful for all of her hard work, and would recommend anyone to hire Julie to represent them in the furure
Three years ago Ms. Cerio was appointed by the court to represent my (4) daughters in a rather complicated and lengthy divorce. To this day Ms. Cerio continues to respond to their needs while custody disputes continue. She has worked tirelessly to keep their best interest at the forefront of all court-related proceedings. My youngest would text and email Ms. Cerio when she was upset and confused and each question was responded to with care. Always professional, she answers the tough questions children ask with honesty, giving them the respect they deserve. If your children are your primary concern, you will not find a better advocate than Julie Cerio.
Julie was recommended by my divorce attorney to represent me in family court regarding amendments to the family court order. Although the first family court case was brought by the mother for enforcement, I also filed for an amendment to the family court order. Although I'd say my case(s) weren't any more difficult legally, I did face the typical problems most fathers face in family court....that being that the courts typically find in favor of the mothers as if they have entitlement. Being a father, i initially thought I should seek a male attorney to represent me because I felt he might better understand what males typically encounter in family court. In talking to Julie, I truly felt that she wasn't just representing a client, but also representing what was in the best interest of my children. I'm sure clients get caught up in the "fight" and just want to win at all cost. All too often attorneys get caught up in just representing their clients for the "win," when these decisions might not be in the best interest of the children. Julie wasn't afraid to tell me what she felt. Not only from a legal perspective, but also from a "do the right thing," perspective. In doing so I'm sure more clients choose decisions that are truly in the interest of the children and not just themselves. I'm not an attorney, therefore I can't claim to understand the complexities of any family court case and what it takes to win a decision. I did however feel that the case brought against me and that against her was pretty clear cut. If I didn't feel this way I wouldn't have filed in the first place. Whether mine was a clear cut case, or one that encountered complex legal issues or not, I won my case. Would I recommend Julie? Yes. Is my opinion biased? Yes. I won my case. What clients need to remember and pray is that they win their cases, assuming they are based on a legal, ethical, and moral grounds . When one person wins, another loses, therefore some clients might not think that they got the best representation. To those who lost and feel that they weren't represented, ask yourself if the decisions made were argued based on the law, or other selfish motives.
Atty Cerio was court appointed to represent my two daughters, age nine and ten. She established a solid and open relationship with the girls at their comfort level. She addressed their concerns and questions so that they could understand the judicial jargon and concepts. She clearly read the parents and dealt with them professionally and firmly. Atty Cerio represented the best interests of her young clients and applied common sense to all issues. When doubts arose from the parental games, she cleverly devised ways to navigate to those best interests of her clients.
When beginning my process through this really rough time in my life I had no idea what to expect. I worried mostly for my children and the effect it would have on them while also trying to stay strong emotionally and make the right decisions for them and myself. When Julie Cerio was appointed by the court to represent my children and after meeting her I can't begin to tell you the relief I felt. You hear alot of stories about lawyers and what not but I can tell you this women is one passionate, caring, and involved individual. She met with my children and the response from them was exactly what I'd hope for..."she's nice, easy to talk to". She let them know that at anytime they could call her (and they did) and explain any questions that they had. She ALWAYS answered or got back to them by the end of that day. Julie went above and beyond what was expected of her and even helped me quite a bit with calming me down and talking to me straight. That is one of the things I liked most about Julie is her straight forwardness and honest (good or bad) talk. You could feel that she cared what happened to you and your children and not just earning a paycheck. How she does it while also raising her own family is something I truly admire about her. You will get so much more than just a lawyer if you ever get the chance to work with her.
