We started reaching out to lawyers by email on a Sunday morning. Julie called us back before lunch. She's responsive professional and aggressive in court. And we didn't just hire a lawyer, we made a friend. Julie genuinely cares about her clients. She treated our situation like it was her situation and almost a year later still keeps in touch. If you need the best there is, call Julie Camden.
The firm of Camden and Meridew expertly saw my wage and unjust enrichment claim through from initial offers to settle out of court, through court proceedings and then the recovery of my claim. The team was always professional, courteous, responsive to questions and forward thinking. My proceedings involved special circumstance given my employer had dissolved the business that owed my back wages and other reimbursements. However, attorney Julie Camden, had the foresight to lay the groundwork during court proceedings to prove that the cooperative veil had been pierced as my employer had not kept personal and business funds separate. As a result, the owner was personally responsible for the payments ultimately awarded by the court. Had she not done this additional time and resources would have been required after the initial proceedings to make this case. I highly recommend the firm.
Short Review (Long Review later): Just hire her. Just do it. She takes your problems and makes them her problems and then she solves them with you. She is a no-nonsense professional that will not blow wind up your skirt to give you false hopes. She will give it to you straight, offer you advice, and then stridently represent you and your interests. Long Review: I hired Julie for a family law case. I had 3 different attorneys over 7 years, and they all could not achieve what Julie did. Speaking with others on the exact issues of the case, people kept asking me why things were still the same? Why have these problems not been fixed? Why is the court continuing to allow these things to happen? Well – they’re because I had not hired Julie Camden yet! In just over 4 months she got things accomplished that I only dared to believe were possible. Julie assessed the situation, the attorneys, the judge, the guardian ad litem, the parenting coordinator, and advised a best course of action. That course of action was not always what I would have imagined, but it all worked out! I did not get a temporary fix – I got a permanent fix. The solution that the court has ordered is the best for the children. And the solution is also the best for me too (and I would argue my ex-wife as well). She argued coherently and truthfully…and did not let the other side play the victim effectively, which had been done in the past. She was logical, organized, and got many points presented to the court that I was unable to show earlier. I could go on and on – but I would not hesitate one second to hire her again. She also does not try to get extra fees. Julie takes her client seriously, as well as that client's expenses!
I retained Julie to handle the adoption of my daughter. From the moment that we contacted her, she was able to meet with us the same day, due to our time sensitive and urgent circumstances, and had begun the process of drafting the paperwork for filing almost immediately. She was so knowledgeable of the process, and so in tune with us the whole time. She knew the minute details of our case, understood the urgency of our situation, and fought tooth and nail for not only us, but for our daughter's well being, safety and happiness. She represented us at every level, Trial Court, Appellate Court, and Supreme Court. I cannot say enough good things about Julie and her firm. Not only did we get the desired outcome, but in a big, big way! I highly recommend Julie to anyone that is seeking help with an adoption!
Julie did an excellent job preparing my family law case. She went above and beyond to achieve the results we were awarded in the end. Although things didn't end the way I had planned, I am 100% confident that Julie held our children's best interests and would recommend her to anyone, anytime.
My wife and I hired Julie to prepare our wills and estate documents. We loved working with Julie, she is knowledgeable, she is kind, compassionate and enjoys the work she does and you can tell with the pleasant client experience we received. I would highly recommend Julie for your future legal needs.
I had met with several attorneys and was not having any luck when meeting with them about my case. With not having any luck I decided to search outside of my county and found Julie Camden. Julie is an excellent attorney. She is straight forward, honest, truthful, and will do anything she can to help you with your case. One thing I really liked about Julie is her honesty because it is so hard to find in an attorney these days. My case was a little difficult with the way things were setup already for custody and visitation for my son, but Julie was able to get everything we were needing changed and way more than I could have imagined. I would recommend everyone to Julie!!
Julie has been my attorney for almost 10 years. She has always delivered positive results. Recently, when I discovered an action was being taken that could potentially break apart my family, I reached out to Julie and she took my call while on a personal family vacation.
Julie accepted to work on a complicated family law case. This case had been started by well regarded local law firm who, in my opinion, had not taken the time to understand the complexity of the situation and fumbled the ball when we got to court. After leaving the court house very disappointed after the preliminary hearing with this law firm, I was referred to Julie. She took the time to listen, ask good questions, and help flush out the strategies on how to fix the mess from the prelim hearing. During the months that have followed, Julie has been attentive to my questions, phone calls, and has allowed me to collaborate in the legal strategy. When preparing the briefs and at the hearings, Julie has always been extremely prepared. Her attention to detail is outstanding and her ability to think on her feet is very remarkable. I think more than anything, Julie cared about my case. She was emotionally invested and that gave me a lot of comfort as I knew she was not going to cut any corners and I would get 100% from her. I feel very fortunate to have met her and have her working on my case. I only wish I had been introduced to her before my case was started. I only have praises to give her and her team.
I had no idea that bankruptcy could help me as much as it did. While many others had advised me against bankruptcy, Julie suggested that it could help me turn things around. I was so afraid of filing bankruptcy but after talking with Julie I decided it was the best thing to help my financial situation after my divorce. I was able to get a fresh start from all the debt that my ex-wife racked up and I was left with. While going through bankruptcy is an extremely difficult emotional process, Julie helped make it easier by answering my questions and guiding me through everything. She was attentive, helpful, and listened to all of my concerns. Now that everything is final I am so glad that I took her advice.
