She got upset because I simply did not want to make empty offers to an unreasonable landlord who I've known for 3 years and would laugh at any offer. She just dropped me with no warning and won't return my retainer. I'm short on money and asked for my retainer to be returned so I can get another attorney and she says "A final invoice will be mailed to your address at the end of the month". I reminded her it is the end of the month 9/26 and she ignores me.
