About

I am an attorney practicing in the State of Hawaii, on the Island of Maui.  I started as a lawyer in Oregon in 1983 with a boutique firm specializing in securities fraud and other complex civil litigation, where I learned the importance of hard work, solid preparation, and sound judgment.  I moved to Hawaii in 1989, and after a few years with a large firm, opened my own office in 1992.  I concentrate on business and real estate matters, including litigation, transactions, and alternative dispute resolution.  I am proud of my focus on client service and helping clients achieve their goals.  In my spare time, I enjoy the peace, quiet, and isolation of my ranch property in Kipahulu and my dogs.  I am married to a most wonderful and fascinating Hawaiian man.
