Mr. Perez went above and beyond the call of duty in assisting me with a legal question. He seems very professional and knowledgeable, and was very quick in responding to my questions. In short, he helped lift a heavy weight from my shoulders in just an afternoon's worth of emails. Many thanks!!

Jay is amazingly intelligent. He knows the law and he will guide you through everything you need to know. He is patient, polite, knowledgeable, and he was able to guide us in the right direction for nearly nine months while we went through the process of filing a Chapter 7 bankruptcy. He was patient with our questions and fully explained everything. In our moments of panic: "What did we do?” "Have we made the right decision?” "Where does this leave us?” "What are we going to do if the court challenges our bankruptcy?” "What happens if the court doesn't challenge our bankruptcy, then what is the future of our credit going to be?” "Will we lose our car, our house?” "What does this letter mean?" "What does this sentence in this letter mean?” MOREOVER "What do we do now?”, Jay was prompt and thorough with answers. It was extremely difficult to trust the advice of someone who, in the beginning, was a total stranger. It was even harder to make decisions based upon this stranger's advice, decisions that, in the end, will not affect their life, only yours. We are so grateful we chose to put our trust in Jay. He never gave us the wrong answer or guided us in the wrong direction. Jay worked very hard to give us the opportunity to start over, and we are making the absolute best of it. In our opinion, if we had not hired Jay, we would still be struggling through the court system today. We know people who started their bankruptcy three+ years ago and their wages are being garnished because their attorney has not taken the next step and filed the bankruptcy with the courts. We retained Jay in June 2012. He was paid in full by September 2012 and he started working on our case immediately. We filed in December 2012 and our bankruptcy was finalized and approved by the courts in March 2013. We have worked with several attorneys for custody issues in the past and we have never been treated the way Jay treated us as clients. We worked as a team, not just us as a client and him as an attorney. We are forever grateful for his hard work and sincerely thank him for helping us through the toughest time of our lives. We wish him the best in ALL of his endeavors.

When I was looking for an attorney, to help me with my financial situation (which is in a shambles), I did talk with a number of different firms. I chose Jay Perez, as he was the only attorney that talked about all the different options I could take. Once I decided on Chapter 13 bankruptcy, he made sure that not only the required paperwork was done, but I clearly understood what actions I need to take on my end and what paperwork I was signing. I am always informed of the progress of my case, upcoming meetings, and all documentation required. I was very nervous, and embarrassed, about my current financial situation. Jay was very helpful in walking through the entrire process with me, taking the time and never rushing when I had appointments with him, and discussing all all possible scenarios that may impact my filing - in terms I understood. I am very happy I hired Jay to assist me with my case. He reduced my stress and anxiety immediately after my first appointment with him. If I have a question about my case, or the bankruptcy process, there is always someone there to answer my questions. I highly reccommend Jay Perez as an attorney.
