Sad that I made a poor decision to drive when I felt I was OK to do so. If you value your career and the possible outcome after the shame and embarrassing situation you need the best in representation. I did my due diligence and “interviewed two other pseudo top dui attorneys”. I did the in person meet and greet and felt the persons I met with were the sort of people who only wanted a pay day and I was a “case”. I arrived at Joshua’s office. Nervous at first to discuss the details but within five minutes I knew I had met the person to best represent me. Let me very clear, Joshua and Amanda are a force to be reckoned with. I was given, from the beginning, a very clear and concise plan of attack of my defense. The phone calls and in person details of my case were handled with the utmost professionalism and attention to detail. I cannot express how much this team did for me. This was my first and will be my only dealings with a DUI. Joshua fought for my rights...he appeared multiple times in the process and with his guidance we decided to move forward and challenge the process of my blood work and with expert testimony...the criminal portion was dismissed....read that again...he brought an expert in front of the judge and was articulate and aggressive in the best possible way. He focused on my constitutional rights and proved in a court of law that I deserved my rights. I sat in the courtroom (for the first time in my life) with Joshua on my right side. He is a force to be reckoned with and I have already made mention to colleagues that should you need a power house in your corner this is the team. It’s not an easy thing to through with, getting arrested, going to jail for a night, waking up and going home and suffering the main and anguish you have made a stupid mistake. I only know that EVERY dollar I spent on my defense was worth it. There are no promises, however if I ever had to refer anyone on the legalities and having clear, concise and confidence on how to handle this..I would without a shadow of a doubt recommend his services. You will not get better representation but more importantly you will be treated with the utmost compassion and concern. I won my criminal component and we are awaiting a successful outcome with the DMV

When my search for an attorney began, I hit up Google, Yelp, and Avvo. After spending hours doing research, I narrowed my choices down to 2-3 attorneys. Five minutes into my consultation meeting with Josh, I knew he was the right fit for me. What drew me to Josh was his professionalism, authenticity, and track record. He has a well-known reputation for being able to plead a DUI down to a wet reckless. Now he made no promises to me about being able to do that, but he ended up pulling off the unimaginable. He was able to negotiate a wet reckless in a jurisdiction that doesn't typically agree to those if your BAC is over .10. I was a first-timer with a BAC of exactly .10 and Josh came through. The best part of the whole experience was that I never had to attend any court appointments or the DUI hearing. Josh took a huge weight off my shoulders while I continued on with my life. I'm equally grateful for his extremely detailed and organized approach. After he handled all court matters, he emailed/mailed me a packet which included detailed steps/dates I had to complete in order to fully comply with the terms of my plea. It doesn't get any better that. I highly recommend Attorney Josh Price, arguably the best DUI lawyer in all of San Diego!

I had met Mr. Joshua Price a year ago when this unfortunate incident had happened. I got to know about him after searching online for the BEST DUI/Wet Reckless Lawyers in San Diego/LA county region. The positive reviews he already had in various websites, made me confident of my case. It also had how much efforts/smartness he has, and he puts into his cases. On the first meet itself he thoroughly explained what exactly is this case, its effects, the overall procedure of the case & its timeline. He made sure he had all the details from me & explained how we could either reduce it to a wet reckless or win both the court & DMV cases. The good thing is he gave me time to go talk to other lawyers as well just to gage where my case stands and to make it a point that he is not concluding without seeing the recordings or statements (He was being realistic). After going through all the evidences, he reduced my DUI to a WET RECKLESS (0.08 was the reported result) and won at the DMV. He and his assistant Amanda were very professional and answer all your queries. The three good factors of why to choose Mr. Joshua Price is that 1. He knows what he is doing and keeps you informed always 2. He brings up expert evidence wherever required (this got my win at the DMV) 3. He is very affordable & the client doesn’t have to meet at all (I just met him once)

Just like a lot of people, I never imagined I’d get arrested, find myself in jail, or being charged with a DUI. I had a horrible lapse of judgment as I drove 3 blocks with a BAC of .26%. On top of this awful mistake, I did not make things easy for myself or for Mr. Price as I refused to submit to a chemical breath and blood DUI test. At the police station, the arresting officer procured a warrant to draw my blood. Subsequently, I was additionally charged with refusal to submit to alcohol testing with the DMV. This carries an automatic 1-year hard suspension of my driver license. When I got home from my night in jail, I immediately started Googling and researching “the best DUI attorneys in San Diego.” I read reviews and asked for attorney recommendations from a few people I knew who had been charged with a DUI. I called and spoke to several DUI attorneys, but I but was not sure who to go with. A friend connected me to a former San Diego District Attorney so I could get a sense of what to expect during the arduous process, get a little advice and find out who he considers are the best DUI attorneys in San Diego. He told me that if he or any of his friends or family got a DUI that there was only one attorney who he would call or recommend; Mr. Price. I researched Mr. Price and subsequently made an appointment with him. That was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. During our initial call, Mr. Price was meticulous in gathering pertinent information by walking me through the night of my arrest and hearing my perspective of what occurred. I really appreciated his attention to detail as well as his non-judgmental attitude, as I was embarrassed and down on myself regarding my DUI. Mr. Price clearly explained to me how he would handle my case. He laid out possible outcomes, giving me the best-and worst-case scenarios. I also appreciated that Mr. Price is a straight shooter who didn’t sugar coat the gravity of my situation. He gave me the honest to God truth and is realistic of what he believes he can do for you (and he most likely will overachieve what he tells you). With Mr. Price’s dedication and knowledge of the law, he was able to work out a fantastic plea deal for me. My enhanced BAC of .26% was reduced to .19%. I only had to take the mandatory DUI classes for 3 months instead of the typical 9 months. I was given 3 years of probation instead of the 5 years the DA asked for. I didn’t have to wear an ankle bracelet or put a breathalyzer in my vehicle. Mr. Price worked hard to get me the bare minimum punishment possible for a DUI. On top of that, he was able to WIN THE REFUSAL with the DMV hearing officer setting aside the action. My driving privileges were restored and was able to get a restricted license for only 4 months. I can’t praise Mr. Price and Amanda enough for all of their help throughout the entire process. Whenever there were any updates regarding my case, they were prompt in contacting me. Anytime I had questions, they both responded quickly. They were essentially available whenever I needed them. With so much going on with the courts and DMV right now, it was assuring to have both of them in my corner fighting until the end. Give them a call and see for yourself. You won’t regret it.

Summer of 2020, months after the world shut down due to Covid-19, I experienced my first DUI. I am still humbled by the day, and my poor choice to get into my car and think that I was okay to drive. I will begin by saying that I am so grateful that I did not get hurt, or hurt someone else. I did not need to research a DUI attorney. I called a friend who I knew had gone through a very stressful, extreme case with his DUI. He turned to Josh Price, based off a referral from someone else, years earlier that we both know as well. I had remembered a few years back, how my friend spoke so highly of "his attorney." His case worked out amazing, and so I didn't even second guess my choice to reach out and get Josh Price's information. For a first time offense, I had a few factors with my case that were very stressful. My BAC was a .30, after the blood work came back. I had zero food on board that day, had only two cups of strong coffee and drank hard alcohol, which I never do. I struck a parked car, that thank God, nobody was even so much as sitting in. It was a residential area, and I panicked. I got turned around and realized I needed to stop and get parked. I was pulled over, and the rest was surreal. I reached out to Josh Price the next day, sad and embarrassed to try and remember the details, which I felt like I was in total shock doing so. Josh took my case on and from here, I will address my experience with how me and my case were both treated. From the beginning of my experience, I was not only treated so respectfully, and the professionalism was incredible. Both Josh, and Amanda, his paralegal, should get "tips" for their kind listening skills and almost therapist type virtues. They never once made me feel "judged," which was so appreciated. They guided me with suggestions and possible worst case scenarios, to least. With my case, my fear was the fact that I drove a short distance away from the car that I struck. I was so scared that things could escalate to a hit and run. Josh was firm, but down to earth. I had friends ask why I paid an attorney, and I believe they thought I got one, thinking I was going to get of of a DUI. This was so far from it! I wanted to make sure I did everything I needed to do right. It was covid, and I wanted to have nothing slip through the cracks so to speak. I did not think I was going to get out of a DUI. I made a poor choice, and the BAC was evidence, yet having Josh Price guide me through the whole process made things feel right. End result, I did everything with the time I had to wait, due to everything being pushed out due to covid. SMART meetings, MADD, and a number of other suggestions. Josh showed up on my behalf and was always quick to answer his phone personally, as Amanda did as well. He got the DMV to drop the hit and run, I got ordered to do a DUI program of course, but no alcohol monitoring orders, even with the high BAC. Both Josh and Amanda were available to answer any questions I had, and they educated me on so many levels of what I needed to be mindful of with moving forward with my life following this event. Two things stand out for me through this entire experience, which are the following; Josh has paperwork that you fill out when you become a client. The last question asks you, "what is your hope for the outcome of your case?" The other is MADD, my takeaway is that there really is no excuse to drink and drive. The answer to Josh's paperwork, to this day is still the same. I wanted the outcome to be for my highest good. I made a choice that the result was a DUI. It was humbling, and scary for me. I took it serious, and once again am so grateful nobody got hurt. MADD, again... in my case, I have the power of choice to remember there is no excuse to drink and drive. Thank you Josh and Ama

I made the poor decision to drink and drive one night. As a health professional, I had no idea of the impact that this would have on my career. I frantically called around after my incident and spoke with several attorneys. I ultimately decided to go with Mr. Price and it was the best decision that I have ever made. My DUI got dropped to a Wet Reckless even though my BAC was .15 and an accident occurred. Mr. Price and Amanda always got back to me promptly and both were always available to answer any questions. Josh also went above and beyond in helping me navigate my issues with my professional license. Even if he did not know the answers to some of my questions, he enlisted help from his colleagues (licensing attorneys) to get the answers that I needed to make a more informed decision. I highly recommend Mr. Joshua Price and I cannot thank him enough.

Last December, I got the call no parent ever wants to receive. I had a message that my college-aged son had been arrested after falling asleep while blocking a traffic lane with a .12 BAC. In panic mode, I was trying to figure out bail, where the car was, and what to do next. I searched for reviews to find a good attorney. I narrowed the list down and started to make calls. Josh took time to call me on a Sunday afternoon and calmly talked me through the next steps. Anything over .10 BAC is hard to get dismissed or reduced to a "wet and reckless." COVID caused a delay in the process, but Josh took care of all the details, court appearances, and communication. A DUI would have meant serious consequences and could have impacted finding a job after college. Josh suggested making a plea for a wet and reckless. He made no promises that the prosecutors would accept a plea deal. Thankfully, Josh was able to secure the plea deal. As a result, my son's probation, fines, and consequences were not as severe as a DUI. A wet and reckless is still serious and requires, MADD and first offenders' course, a shorter probation, and 2 points on his driving record. Josh was also able to negotiate 40 hours of community service. I am thankful he was able to help my son get a less severe charge. Josh explained that not only do you have to face court charges, but you must also face the DMV separately. Even if you "win" your court case, the DMV can still restrict driving privileges. Two officers appeared at the DMV hearing. Josh was able to win the DMV case and show discrepancies in timelines in their testimonies. As a result, the DMV granted full driving privileges! Throughout the process, Josh worked to answer my questions, provide resources for obtaining an SR-22 that were needed to drive until the DMV case was won. He was willing to answer my questions and give us honest and realistic expectations of possible outcomes. This arrest was one of the worse moments of our lives, but I am glad Josh was able to help us navigate the legal ramifications with the best possible outcomes.

As a veteran dealing with life, life happened and I made a bad decision, I wrecked my car while under the influence for a first-offense. I was referred to Josh by a family friend and retained him throughout my entire process. I spent the night of October 31st, 2018 behind bars and thinking about how my life as I knew it was over. Fast forward to October 2020, I made it through military diversion and the DMV unscathed. Josh and Amanda's meticulous attention to detail got me the best possible outcome I could have asked for, a dismissal while navigating COVID. Highly recommend this office, and I look forward to living without needing to use their services again.

March 21, 2021
