 I am a trial attorney whose practice includes domestic and family law, criminal defense, personal injury, bankruptcy and general civil litigation matters. I have been representing individuals and families in Calvert County and throughout Southern Maryland for over six years.I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a minor in history from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2005. In 2009 I earned a Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law, where he was an active member of the Property Law Society and Family Law Society. I also served in the Florida Coastal Consumer Law Clinic where I assisted low income individuals and families fight against creditors and abusive collection tactics.After law school I served as a law clerk in the Calvert County Public Defender’s Office where I assisted with the the defense of individuals charged with various criminal acts. In 2010 JI joined a local law office of as an Associate. While with my former firm, I handled a variety of cases, including domestic, criminal defense, Chapter 7 bankruptcy, Chapter 13 bankruptcy, estate planning, real estate, protective orders, general civil litigation and estates.I am a member of the Maryland Bar, Calvert County Bar Association, and the Bar of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.I enjoys history and kayaking, and is an avid fan of the Washington Redskins.
