Josh has been appointed by the Chief Administrative Judge of the NYS Supreme Court in Manhattan to serve on the Court's Malpractice Case Management Committee. He serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Board of the 4000 + member New York State Trial Lawyers Association and is the Chairman of the Partnership for Justice Committee, a fund-raising arm of the Association. In addition, Josh has been designated by the US Bankruptcy Court and Trustees as a mediator in a substantial number of malpractice cases involving uninsured or bankrupt hospitals, helping plaintiffs and defendants reach amicable settlements on cases which languished for many years before mediation. Josh has obtained many substantial verdicts and/or settlements for his clients, including many cases with million dollar plus recoveries. Josh is a frequent lecturer on medical malpractice and personal injury law and is a Dean of the New York State Trial Lawyers Insitute, New York's leading continuing legal education provider.
