Joshua Macel is a litigation attorney in Wolf, Baldwin, & Associates' Pottstown office. Mr. Macel represents several local businesses and individuals in breach of contract, employment, real estate, property dispute, and personal injury actions.Mr. Macel strives to effectively communicate with his clients to understand their needs and explain how the legal process can work to help them. He believes in a holistic approach to resolving disputes, crafting a strategy that zealously advocates for his clients' best interests while considering the financial and often personal nature of the issues at hand. This style results in the best outcomes in and out of the courtroom.Prior to joining Wolf, Baldwin, & Associates, Mr. Macel served as law clerk in the Berks County and Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He also spent six years in private practice representing individuals, small businesses, and health care providers throughout the Philadelphia region. This unique combination of legal acumen and experience allows special insight into the decision-making process and helps develop winning litigation strategies. Adept at scrutinizing adverse claims and recognizing the true nature of a dispute, Mr. Macel devotes the same care and attention to each client regardless of the complexity of the issues involved.Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Josh matriculated at Allegheny College, where he was an Alden Scholar and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in History and minor in Classical Studies. He was elected president of the Class of 2007, president of the Alpha Chapter of Delta Tau Delta, president of the Allegheny Interfraternity Council, and Captain of the ice hockey team three of his four seasons.  Josh was also a member of the rugby team, wrote for The Campus newspaper, and played tuba in the symphony.  As a law student at the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law ("Penn State Law") he belonged to the Environmental Law Society and won awards for excellence in Statutory Interpretation and Judicial Opinion Writing while earning a Juris Doctor.In his free time Josh indulges in stamp collecting and enjoys canoeing, camping, biking, and men's league ice hockey. Josh and his wife reside happily in Collegeville with their daughter and two Black and Tan Coonhounds, Sherlock and Norman.
