About

Joshua "Josh" D. Allison is a native of the southeast area of Louisiana having grown up in St. Bernard Parish while attending school in New Orleans.  He then lived in Hammond, Louisiana while attending Southeastern Louisiana University on multiple academic scholarships and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelors in Political Science and a minor in history.  Josh then attended Loyola College of Law in historic uptown New Orleans, graduating in 2014 with his Juris Doctor in Civil Law as well as a Certificate in International Law.   While in law school, Josh was elected by his fellow students to the Honor Board, an organization comprised of the student body responsible for administering Loyola's ethics code among the law students.  Also while in law school, he was honored to successfully represent both the Loyola College of Law and the City of New Orleans as a competing oralist in the world's largest and most prestigious moot court competition, the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.  For the first time in Loyola's history, Loyola won first place at the regional level, and advanced to the international competition in Washington D.C. as one of only twelve teams representing the United States against over 100 law schools from around the world.   Josh's practice focuses on civil litigation through southeast Louisiana, primarily in the New Orleans metropolitan areas including Jefferson Parish and the Parishes north of Lake Ponchatrain.  He concentrates on various types of personal injury litigation, commercial litigation, and domestic litigation including adoptions, child custody and support, interdictions, divorce and community property.  In the area of personal injury litigation, Josh takes his representation of injured clients as a very serious matter and fights to obtain the best medical treatment and maximum recovery for their injuries in an expeditious manner.  In the area of commercial litigation, Josh defends and prosecutes various types of businesses and businessmen in connection with unfair dealings and contracts as well as fraudulent and deceptive business practices.  He will also carefully counsel a Louisiana business in the contracting phase of a business arrangement or joint venture agreement in order to avoid unnecessary and expensive litigation at a later time.  In the area of domestic litigation, Josh prepares to take every case to trial and works closely with his clients and their families to provide guidance and protection through what is often an emotionally challenging time.   In addition to managing his own law corporation in downtown Covington, Louisiana, Josh also works with experienced New Orleans trial attorney Robert B. Evans, III and is Of Counsel to the Evans Law Corporation located in Metairie, Louisiana.  Robert B. Evans, III and Josh concentrate on major personal injury cases involving life-altering brain and spinal chord injuries, wrongful death, as well as highly sophisticated commercial litigation cases involving contract disputes, unfair trade practices, trade secrets, competition agreements, intellectual property, etc.  Please see www.robertevanslaw.com to review Robert B. Evans, III and the Evans Law Corporation.  Josh also acknowledges the important role that a personal faith in God often plays in his profession and in the lives of his clients.

Mr. Allison listens intently and calculates a logical response instantly. Very sharp, and well put together. Historical and classy office. His demeanor is professional, which is expected, along side of a very practical and down-to-earth perspective. Genuinely, an individual who has worked hard and consistently over time to have achieved what he has thus far, therefore, he is acknowledged as trustworthy and dependable; dedicated to bringing "light to the surface". I recommend him to anyone whom is interested in finding an attorney who will diligently seek justice and vindication on behalf of them and/or their family.
