Joseph W. Weik, Esquire limits his practice to plaintiffs' personal injury and claimants' workers compensation cases. Since 2001, he has been consistently selected as one of Delaware's Top Lawyers by the Delaware Today magazine. He has also received the prestigious AV rating from Martindale Hubbell representing the highest national rating in legal ability and ethical standards. Joseph is also a "Best Lawyer in America" from 2007 to present.  He is a graduate of Salesianum School (1970), the University of Delaware (1974), and the Dickinson School of Law at Penn State University (1978). Joseph W. Weik, Esquire has been in private practice since entering the Bar in 1979. He is a member of the United States Supreme Court since 2008. He has tried hundreds of Industrial Accident Board cases and nearly a hundred jury trials. Since 1990, he has been a member of the Board of Governors of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association, and served as its President from 1997 to 1998. He is a member of the "Workers Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG) and the "American Board of Trial Advocates" (ABOTA). He has also held the office of Treasurer, Triad Chair, and currently sits on the Board as Chairman of the Council of Past Presidents. In 1992, he was selected as one of the two governors representing the State of Delaware before.He currently sits as a trustee of LAWPAC of Delaware and has served as Chairman and Secretary of that organization. From 1999 to 2000, he served as the Chairman of the Workers Compensation Section of the Delaware State Bar Association, and has lectured frequently on behalf of the Bar Association on topics involving workers Compensation. He has also been a frequent lecturer on behalf of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association on a variety of topics including trial techniques and ethics. Joseph W. Weik is also a frequent guest on WHYY-TVl2, Delaware's only TV news show, where he speaks on a variety of legal issues. A lifelong resident in the State of Delaware, Joseph W. Weik, Esquire, is married and has two sons.the American Association of Justice (formerly ATLA). From 2004 to 2007, he sat as a trustee of the AAJ LAWPAC.
