Any consumer involved in an aggressive debt collection situation already feels vulnerable but when an educated, articulate person cannot actually communicate with a collector and is treated disrespectfully as is the case so many times; it is a step of faith to reach out for help to any agency or lawyer that you can only hope doesn't exacerbate the situation. Mr. Panvini and the Thompson Consumer Law Group, PLLC not only effectively resolved my debt settlement but continued to represent me in an actual case ending in a favorable judgement against a stereotypical debt collector involved in stereotypical practices that usually weaken and overcome the average consumer. While I personally was able to receive a settlement amount that included lawyer fees, I was most satisfied that the judgement was entered against the collector. I recognize for them to lose meant that Mr. Panvini and the Thompson Group really knew what they were doing and spent real time giving genuine attention to the specifics of my case. Mr. Panvini specifically, kept in touch with me by email and phone even when it was challenging to get a hold of me during the day as is with most educators. He was professional and honest from beginning to end. He kept me abreast of the status of my case, without ever being condescending or abrupt with me,even when I considered giving up out of fear of losing and being counter-sued for fees. I am grateful to the Thompson Consumer Law Group and Mr. Panvini. Because of them, this potentially costly and demeaning experience was not only resolved to my satisfaction, but without a doubt exceeded my expectations.
