Joe is one the best lawyers I have ever worked with. He has an amazing ability to reduce complex issues and technology into simple concepts that business people can understand. He consistently develops innovative strategies that help me achieve my ultimate business goal.
My experience with Joe has been primarily in the arena of business and contract law. He has personally assisted me in navigating numerous complex situations for which I am hugely appreciative (we have probably spent a few hundred man hours working together over the past several years). Examples of our work together include: establishing direct terms agreements with Fortune 500 companies, establishing a master contract with the state of Maryland and responding to federal bid requests (among others). Joe is far from the only attorney I've needed to leverage in my life so I can appreciate his aptitude for strategic thinking and diligence in his approach to things. I really can't say enough good things about Joe and would highly recommend leveraging his services.
I have worked with Joe for several years at this point. What sets him apart from other legal professionals is his ability to understand the complexity of a what it's like to be a sales person and the challenges that role faces. His ability to have an understanding and empathy for this position allows Joe to find great legal solutions for complex sales situations.
Joe Hickson has been very informative and receptive to my business needs. He is patient while also highly willing and able to assimilate the demands of my company in regards to all legals matters.
I had been denied for a LTC and appealed on Mr. Hickson's advise. I hired Mr. Hickson to represent me in the appeal. He called me 5 minutes before the hearing and cancelled. I lost all my fees for the appeal and a chance for a second appeal. I never heard from him again. Unreliable, and untrustworthy.
