Mr. Silverman, was and continues to be an awesome attorney. Although I saw the decorative comments by prior clients, I do not see anything of merit to what they say. Mr. Silverman answers my calls at 7:30 in the evening and even on the weekends. Meets with me after hours (6-7 or 8). We had a trial last Wednesday that simply proved his knowledge of what is supposed to go on in a courtroom. He is extremely respected by everyone, including judges. In fact, he was recommended to me by a previous Judge and another previous judge told me that it couldn't get any better. I am extremely comfortable with my decision with hiring this man! I am actually floored to see the things people say on AVVO. The man that I am dealing with is not even remotely close to what these folks are saying.

Jonathon was more than I could have asked for! I know a lot of attorneys in the county and all told me I should see Jonathan Silverman for the best representation for my divorce. His practice is in Lee County and I live in Moore, but much of his work is in Moore. He was amazing! My husband, though we did not have a really "ugly" divorce, like some, was appalled that I hired him...he knew his reputation. He was wonderful to work with! The divorce went off without a hitch, and I got alimony and child support thru my separation and after the divorce. However, it did take us almost two years before we had a final financial settlement....and fortunately, never had to go to court, though it was a long day with a mediator. My husband did pay his attorney, Jamie Clarke a more per hour than I had to pay Jonathan and got less! AND, he paid every time he called, even when he just talked to the receptionist! Though, no attorney is cheap( and if he is, you do not want him) and especially not a good one! It is expensive, but a really good one is worth it and will get things done as quickly as possible. Jonathan is worth every cent.

Mr. Silverman is a wonderful, knowledgeable attorney. We have used him since 2011 and have been very pleased with his ablities in the court room.We highly recommend Mr. Silverman for any domestic problems.I will say that his office help could use some training in "people skills".

I was referred to Jonathan Silverman for separation and divorce. The retainer and fees were considerably higher than other lawyers in the area. I never expected it to be easy but the last couple years were too stressful and not because of my ex but Jonathan Silverman. He procrastinated and did not return calls for days. When I had meetings in office I ended up waiting almost an hour every time. He was rude and condescending. The employees were not helpful or professional at all. I found mistakes in almost every paper that I had to sign. The office is not organized and not clean and they all walked around eating and left half filled coffee cups and food wrappers everywhere and his office was so bad he had to use a conference room. It was such a mess with papers and boxes and clothes on the desk and the floor. I expected professionalism from someone highly recommended. I was so disappointed. I would not hire him or anyone else there because I met the other lawyers and was not impressed. I think they run people in and out so fast they can't do a good job for anyone.

I hired Jonathan Silverman for my divorce. I agree with others who have posted. He is not only rude, he refused to adequately discuss my case with me, refused to return my calls and treated me disrespectfully. He delayed my case for years without a final resolution, made decisions without consulting me, and never explained his actions. He lied to me several times and when confronted, he became enraged. He insulted me on numerous ocassions and got angry with me for questioning his methods, even screaming at me in person and on the phone. He proscratinated filing motions, and waited until the day before court to tell me I needed to appear. He and his secretaries made me feel like an inconvenience once they received my money. I advise anyone in need of a divorce lawyer to look elsewhere. He may have a reputation for being aggressive but he is not a nice person. The outrageous fees are small compared to the mental stress. Do not hire this lawyer. There are other lawyers who will handle your case with care and will treat you respectfully.

Had me sign divorce papers without any custody or financials done. Because of that, this divorce lasted more than 8 years. Probably should have sued for Malpractice, especially after he told me my ex paid him $100.000. I only kept him because of his reputation, but I don't understand how he got that.

We were not treated in a professional way by the staff or the lawyer. He was rude, he never returned our phone calls and we felt like we were always interfering, but this was our case, and we paid for the services.

My wife and I retained Mr. Silverman on Jan 10th 2013 with a $350 consultation fee that we were told would come off the total of approx $1500. He sent documents for us to sign the following week. I signed them and returned them the same day. The defendant in the case sent me information to move forward with the case. I sent this information in to him on Jan 22nd. The following week my wife called three times and left msg's that were never returned. I emailed his assistant on Feb 6th. Amanda replied that she left the information on Mr. Silvermans desk and he would get back to her. Never did. On Feb 11th I called was told My wife would get a call back that same day. Never happened. On Feb 13th the same. On Feb 15th we wrote an email asking why we were not being called back. Even said if they needed more money let us know because we needed to get this moving. No reply. I called today and asked why no calls were returned and no one had any answers. Gina was very rude and said that nothing would be filled until we paid the balance in full. When I asked why no one had told us this before she said rudely "I'm handling this now and that's how it works." I said your office has not returned one phone call in over a month and now you’re telling me to forget all that and you'll start to work?" Not a chance. The staff was completely rude here. Gina especially. I would highly discourage using this firm. They took our $350 consultation fee and made no attempt to do anything else.
