Jonathan handled my divorce case and I felt he did a wonderful job. He answered my questions and met with me when needed. He was kind and supportive and even spoke with my now ex husband. He discussed with him the terms of our agreement and we were able to settle thanks to Jonathan. He was great in my opinion! Through a hard time in my life he helped me.
We hired Jon Pace for a custody case. He was happy to take the case (and our money) and kept us updated on his attempts to "get everyone on our side." Everyone from the GAL to the judge. I've heard a lawyer joke that, "There are lawyers who know the law, and there are lawyers who know the judge." Jon Pace is one of the latter. He's very adept at schmoozing....as long as the opposing side is responsive. When they're not, he goes belly up and doesn't know how to fight for his clients using the law. Because of his gross mismanagement of our case, we lost valuable time on a custody case that we are still involved in. Months ago we had an excellent chance of success and would be done by now if he had done his job correctly. I wouldn't waste my time on even a consult with this man. Find a lawyer who actually cares what happens to his clients and is invested in their case. There are a lot of good lawyers out there..., but this isn't one of them.
Attorney Jon Pace was not prepared at all for my temporary hearing, which my ex husband was happy about. My mediation was a complete farce. As a side note-mediator Michael Glassman is incompetent. My ex husband and I finally determined the terms of the divorce ourselves, instead of throwing more money in the garbage. I have sent the staff MULTIPLE emails which they have chosen to ignore. A matter that should have taken a maximum of three months is now at its eighth month mark. Jon is such a nice guy, unfortunately my whole experience with his office has been awful!
