I made a lot of poor decisions as a young adult. Consequently I was convicted of driving under the influence on three different occasions spanning from the time I was 18 to 29 years old, resulting in a “lifetime suspension” of my driving privileges. I thought my life was over. But I kept grinding. Eventually I got sober. I changed my life and stayed out of trouble. Ten years later I was eligible for reinstatement. I contacted Mr. Weiner and asked for help. I told him my story and he never once talked down to me, He was very pleasant to deal with. And he gave me clear instructions on what paperwork he would need and what we would need to do to prove I was rehabilitated. I had my hearing and the judge agreed that I deserved to get my license back. I’m so grateful to Jon and his team for all their help.

My husband and I could not be more pleased with the service we received from Mr Weiner. He is honest, efficient and took our concerns to heart. We would not hesitate to refer our friends and family to this excellent lawyer. He gave us validation and a sense of peace after talking with him. Great guy.

I used Jon for my DUI case and then in my probation violation involving my DUI. He was responsive and kept me informed. He was quick to reply to and answer my questions professionally and accurately. There were no surprises at court and everything was straight forward as explained to me previous to court.

Jon was very personal and represented me in a big case for, we ended up settling out of court. I would recommend Jon as he is tenacious, smart, and compassionate.

Jon Weiner has been defending my son,as a public defender for 10 months. My son still has not had his court date, due to circumstance beyond Jon control. I believe he has gone above and beyond his duty to assure that my son get a fair trial. Jon has even gone so far as to hire a investigator to check out leads that will hopefully help my son. I believe that the outcome will be positive for my son, but we will just have to see. I believe if it is not positive Jon has done everything he has been able to do in order to insure my sons positive outcome

I’m going to be vague intentionally, but I agree with the other low ratings. Missed appointments, low effort, seemed to not want to be bothered with my case while taking my money and then telling me I was probably in trouble and would talk to me later. This without knowing all the facts, or wanting to hear them. He was also snippy and harsh when it wasn’t necessary. Trust the low ratings. He’s no longer interested in fighting for his clients.

I spend several hundred dollars & days just preparing for my meeting w/ Mr. Weiner; he showed up half hour late, had reviewed nothing I sent him & told me to 'beg the AG & Judge' for mercy to have my case dismissed. I was suing for having my MOST BASIC CIVIL RIGHT BEING REPEATEDLY DENIED BY DHS FOR DECADES with tons of evidence. He taught me how broken & corrupt our system is: you cannot afford due process if you don't have $5,000 disposable cash to give to people who could care less whether you live or die. I've always been a stellar citizen; after his treatment & SAIF being all about profit, I know our system has completely sold out & the common wage earner is screwed. We literally cannot afford attorneys like this: they are draining our system defending laws that have caused the greatest wealth gap in our country's history. He taught me HARD WORK REALLY DOESN'T PAY. Avoid caregiving, as it's legal to get molested while you work (this attorney DID NOTHING ABOUT THAT, EITHER.)

I wish I didn't have to do this, but I feel potential clients should be warned about Jon Weiner before taking their cases to him. Mr. Weiner takes a volume approach to his clients. He takes on cases, puts in minimal effort, and basically leaves settlement to chance. He ended up costing me a lot of money, despite the strong case I brought to him. I very much regretted bringing my case to Mr. Weiner, after 3 other attorneys had gladly offered to take it due to the strong evidence in my favor. I am a lawyer by training, so I know what quality legal work looks like. In Mr. Weiner's representation, he did little more than churn out a handful of poorly-written letters to the other side. Inexplicably, early on in my case he refused to raise certain strong arguments in my favor, seemingly out of no other motive than laziness. While he later raised some of these arguments (in the form of written work product so poor I rewrote it for him, including basic things like transition sentences, which he then edited out without explanation), the delay weakened my position by pushing us up against the statute of limitations deadline. As the statute of limitations deadline approached, Mr. Weiner flat out refused to file a complaint, which would have strengthened my bargaining position and tolled the statute of limitations. He simply didn't want to make the effort. All the while Mr. Weiner was putting forth minimal effort on my case, he was consistently rude and condescending (in emails, because after I agreed to give him my case, I never again got the chance to speak with him on the phone). The guy represents the worst of the legal profession. No care for his clients, just an eye on making a buck with minimal effort. Do yourself a favor and steer clear.
