About
I am a labor and employment lawyer in Seattle Washington representing individuals and labor unions. I have practiced law since 1969 and have been admitted to the Bars of New York, California and Washington as well as several federal courts. I started practicing in Washington in 1977 and was a partner in a law firm for over 20 years when I left to open my solo practice in 2002. I am a member of the American Bar Association and have co-chaired the Employee Rights and Responsibilities and Alternative Dispute Resolution Committees of its Labor and Employment Section. I have also chaired the Labor and Employment Law and Aviation Law Sections of the King County Bar Association. I have been a fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers since 1997 and have been listed in Best Lawyers in America since 1987. I currently serve on the boards of the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, Jewish Family Services of Seattle and Classicial KING-FM. I also am a member of the Seattle Arts Commission, having chaired it for the past two years. I have served as president of Temple De Hirsch Sinai and on several other boards in the past. I graduated from Hobart College and St. John's University School of Law. Before going into private practice I worked for the Federal Avaiation Administration and the Air Line Pilots Association.
